Good, but mic doesn't catch the piano
Mic is on, it has permissions, but pressing the keys does nothing.
Microphone input from a piano does not work
I got this app because I wanted to use my actual piano, not a midi instrument. The microphone input just doesn’t work. It cannot keep up when you play at speed, and even when you play very, very slowly it misses about one in 10 notes (it does not advance when you play the note on the score). It also regularly calls out errors when I play the correct note. This the case at all levels of microphone sensitivity. That makes it pretty worthless as a learning platform for me. It might be better with MIDI, but as I said, I want to use my actual piano.

Brain awakening
I finally found what l’ve been looking for—to sharpen my speed reading more. It’s full of excitement that I get to press the wrong note at times because of speed. I know the answer but it makes me hyper and I press the wrong note. Fun! Fun fun!I just started three days ago 9/12/26 and I am loving it! Thank you!

Pretty good
I've been using this app frequently to improve my sight reading and master the bass clef. It's been great, I love that full features arent locked behind a subscription, it's very accessible for people who aren't looking to pay every month. Switching between higher and lower notes is a little bit disorienting, but i'm excited to see where this app goes. high hopes for the future

Excellent for practicing reading staff, and now there is the option to practice with violin. The one time payment is much better than a monthly subscription.
AI Descriptions
The app is cool in almost every regard. However, after an update, the lessons now have AI-written descriptions… I recommend changing them, because it will give the wrong impression to many as it did to me.

After update it detects more ghost notes
The app works perfectly and I love it so much. Until the last update, the note accuracy to practice with acoustic piano is very bad. It detects wrong note, ghost note.

No ads, are present at all. I plan to buy the premium after spending some more time with this app. I love how it shows the fingerboard on violin! It also shows not just 1 singular note on its own which is one of my major downsides of my other favorite note reading app Tenuto. Give this a shot it’s free and the premium is a one time payment of 4 dollars!

Hope in sight
I really appreciate this app and how it’s improved over the years. I often use it daily and see my sight reading improving, steadily, little by little. The autoscroll/timer feature is a game changer.
Suggestion: AI can learn the “style” of particular musicians, then send note sequences down the staff so these patterns themselves get into the brain and can be used for sight reading / improvisation. Imagine choosing Bach or Mozart from a dropdown then getting random note sequences to recognize that are “Bach-like”, getting these patterns into the brain!

Useful, but not for my instrument
I play the ocarina (12 hole alto c) and I’m learning to sight read. I can still follow along with the practices, but the app does not pick up the sound of my ocarina despite me having paid to get the microphone feature. It would be great if this app had support for wind instruments
The Best Sight Reading App Out There
This app is a no frills, but a very easy to use and must have, for learning sight reading & much more including key signatures etc. For the premium version it’s a no brainier. For literally a few $ or £s one off payment, I cannot understand why this app goes under people’s RADAR. It´s absolutely brilliant.

Can’t hear unless bang
It’s can’t hear the notes unless we bang on our keyboard or my son plays so loud on violin that it’s screeching we tried on both our phones and can’t hear so disappointing!!!

Highly effective
Love the app, but one bug.
I love this app and have practiced over 400,000 notes with it. However, on G flat major, the custom mode switches between B4 and B4 flat indiscriminately for some reason. Other than that, fantastic app!
You have to pay to use your pianos input
You have to pay premium to use your own instruments input and there’s just a keyboard on the screen to use for free, I would’ve never downloaded the app and wasted my time trying to figure out how to set it up if I knew this from the start. Completely useless
Good app but…
This is a good app especially to write and practice sheet music but can you make the violin feature free just like the piano sheet music just make some certain lessons of it free but either way it’s a excellent app would recommend to anyone planning to download it.
