Great on desktop, unusable on iPhone
I’ve used Novelium on the web and it’s a solid writing studio. The iPhone app is a different story. The layout appears to be built for iPad and desktop widths and never reflows for a phone screen. Panels overflow horizontally, the editor toolbar gets cut off at the edge, and chapter and note text runs underneath the keyboard when it opens. Tapping into a chapter often means scrolling sideways to find controls that should be on screen. I can’t draft or even review a chapter without fighting the interface. Until the phone layout is fixed, this is an iPad app that happens to install on an iPhone.

It’s a great website, but the app…
Don’t get me wrong, this is a great writing tool. However the app is super buggy. I spent a good amount of time trying to actually log in.
The way to actually edit your work also has issues. Words are cut off, and you can barely click on buttons.
Please fix this, I enjoy using this tool.

Issues with ability to do… things
I love this site, super cool! But I spent about half an hour writing details for the first character I wanted to add… only to not be able to. There is no button to ‘create character’ on mobile, even though it lets you fill in the details for one. Or at least, the button isn’t showing up. I tapped everything on screen before eventually resorting to the ‘X’ and praying it would save. It didn’t. So now I’m irritated, even though this app seems really promising! I hope a solution to this issue is found soon.

Won’t start
No matter which doc I try to upload, it keeps telling me it failed. I can’t start writing because of it

Honestly, this is really good on desktop, but it does not work well for iPhone. She is not compatible with it. It is not formatted correctly so when you try to create new characters or new roles, it doesn’t give you the ability to say because you can’t scroll down anymore. It is not formatted properly in the fact that the keyboard gets in the way of what you’re actually typing or overlapping so you can’t see it again this is a great desktop, but it is very poorly formatted for iPhone.
