Unable to cancel support no help AVOID!

I have been trying to cancel for days. It does not show up in your iOS subscriptions even though it says that’s how you will cancel. I reached out to the email they provided gave the account number and have spent over two days back-and-forth with the same canned response coming every time I send exactly what they ask for. They are not helpful, terrible to work with. Avoid at all costs.

Do not sign up for subscription!

I signed up for a one week subscription and immediately emailed them that day to tell them I wanted to cancel. They say when you sign up that you can cancel in your Apple apps, but you cannot. They then went onto to charge me another weeks worth the very next day even after being told to cancel my subscription. I have now emailed them at least four times to cancel it and refund what they charged me for and we’re not allowed to because I had already canceled it. I signed up under Apple and it will not show me the email for that and so all they keep asking me is for that even though I give them the account number. This has been going on for multiple days at this point.

Frustrated

Don’t waste your time getting subscription. It doesn’t appear in Apple Subscription. When you email them, they send you an automated response they can’t find your account. Have been trying for weeks to cancel. Meanwhile they are charging me every week,

They have many short stories that are fun and unique to the app. I recommend if you like reading stories.

Refusal to cancel subscription

You aren’t able to follow their stipulated guidelines to cancel your subscription as they purposefully and knowingly circumvent the Apple Pay process through third parties. They stipulate to cancel the subscription through your Apple ID subscriptions, KNOWING you are unable to do so. Then they tell you directly underneath to email them if you’re unable to cancel, but when you email all you get is an AI generated response that claims they are unable to find your account through your email. The exact same email that is linked with my Apple ID in the first place, so I know they are lying. This app is predatory, you can find better quality novels elsewhere without having to worry about this. I had to revoke their right to charge my card through the wallet app. I deleted my account. If they try to charge me again I will dispute the charge

Scam

Joined on a one day pass, they’ve tried to take so many different amounts of money from my bank account that the bank have shut my account down for fraudulent activity. Please stay away from this app.

Cannot Cancel Subscription

Purchased a subscription using Apple Pay. I followed the directions to attempt to cancel the subscription and could not find the subscription in the Apple settings, I have emailed twice regarding this issue and it charged me again before the issue could be resolved and they are still telling me they cannot find my email address to access the subscription.

BEWARE. Cancelling sub is impossible.

Wanted to cancel my subscription after the promotion, but the app did not appear in my Subscriptions list in my ios settings. They claimed they cannot find my account or email associated. I even sent screenshots of payment and the account number. Went through several rounds of emails with no results. Had to directly file a claim with my bank account and will potentially have to get a block put on with the merchant.

Edit: For ios users, if the process was through apple pay, I was recommended by bank to remove the card from the e-wallet so that they can’t try to charge you again. Not sure for how long these guys would attempt to try and charge, but make sure to call your bank and make them aware to block all charges from the merchant if possible.

This is impossible to cancel. If you send them an email you get repeated AI generated responses but no help.

Canceling Subscriptions

While it was not listed under my apple subscriptions like the normal ones, I emailed them and immediately received a response. After giving them the information requested, they canceled my account right away. I appreciate how quickly and efficiently they handled this.

Don’t download. Not worth it.

Tried to cancel which is a long process as communication is hard. Due to delays in response they took a further payment from me and when I requested a refund for this I was told because of my initial payment I would not receive a refund. Considering I had already contacted them a week before payment to cancel I think this is unfair and did not get a response again from the company. Stories were good but definitely would never download again.

Never get this app

Never get this app I got recurring charges after I asked multiple times to cancel gave them every piece of information the needed and they couldn’t find my account and I just delete this app because customer service is a not very helpful I had to go through my bank to get the merchant blocked

Impossible to cancel

I purchased to try this out. I emailed to cancel because it does not show up in my Apple subscriptions. I gave them all the information they provided and they keep sending the same email back to keep providing the information so you are most likely going to have to cancel your bank card and get a whole new one because there is no way to cancel this and they just keep sending the same email back. Very poor customer service would not recommend purchasing because there is no way to cancel

Beware of subscribing

I signed up for the week. Why not it said I could just go into IOS or Google Play and cancel when I wanted. It’s not in either of those and I did use Apple Pay. When I tried clicking feedback it did nothing. Now I’m trying to figure out how to cancel because the books aren’t that great. But haven’t found a way and since this is the only way to actually contact anyone it’s my last resort.

Trouble Cancelling Subscription

Instructions say to go to subscriptions and cancel from there on iPhone, but this app doesn’t pop up on the subscription list. I have emailed two days in a row about canceling, and I have yet to hear back from anyone. I have now been charged after requesting to cancel.

It’s a scam don’t waste your time or money

Difficulty to cancel subscription it deleted app. Doesn’t show up in apple wallet or apple subscription even though it said it does. Poor customer service if at all non existent. Don’t waist your time or money. Avoid at all cost.

Very hard to cancel the membership.
