Love it but…
I love NPR and this app sooo much but the latest update makes it impossible to find the weekly quiz. How are we supposed to prove we’ve been listening?!
Also, it would be nice to shop for NPR merch on the app too.

NPR content is good, but going to the station's website often gives me a more stable stream. And fewer ads (specifically Marketplace on Laist/kpcc 89.3fm Pasadena) the frequency of ads on NPR One app seems much higher than when I can listen to it live OTA. It even interrupts the original show. And, switching between stations (I listen to Marketplace which broadcasts at 2pm on kcrw, 230 on kuow, 3pm on kpcc) is very slow. Often faster to go to the website and tap on their "Listen" stream. And yes I do contribute to NPR. Am I downloading the wrong version of nprone?

Car Play, Live Radio Listener
Since the gradual demise of Classical Music radio here in the UK, as Radio 3 chases audiences rather than classical music listeners, I now stream several US, Italian and French stations in the main.
This app allows me to stream WQXR and others, especially via Car Play for iPhone.
I should add that I don’t listen to Podcasts, but for live radio streaming it’s wonderful.

Only place to get reliable non-partisan news
NPR is pretty much the only place to get reliable, non-partisan, factual news that isn’t driven by adherence to the various algorithms out there. And they don’t use AI to collect and write their stories. Thank you for the quality work, NPR!

There is no longer any option for reporting your sexist, racist or ethically/morally wrong articles within your app.
Is it because you're tired of people tell you they're disappointed in your efforts? Maybe you've wasted a decade of your life and are just holding on to a bad idea.
Instead, I will make complaints against your journalists and your licenses. There may be a free freedom of speech, but we are held accountable to what we share publicly. Don't mislead ordinary people.
Don't praise women at the expense of men. Don't praise Black at the expense White. Vice versa expectations on all this.

I trust NPR
I use AI in my day-to-day for mundane tasks. It’s accurate-seeming (enough) that I don’t know if it’s actually accurate unless I double check it. When it comes to understanding what’s really happening out there, I don’t want to double check. I just want to trust. For me, that’s NPR.

Amazing app + my idea
This app is so great to listen to the news and I have an idea that you should try. Whenever I listen in the morning, my family is usually pretty noisy like when emptying the dishwasher from last night or cutting fruits and stuff and it’s kinda hard to really hear the news properly so my idea is that you can add a closed captions button so that people who can hear very well can still understand what they are saying. Please take this into consideration thank you!
