Application Experience

The NPS application has become extremely inconvenient to use. Whenever the application is opened, it does not accept the existing password, forcing users to generate a new password every single time just to log in. This is merely wasting investors’ valuable time and creating unnecessary frustration.

Kindly resolve this issue on a very high priority basis and ensure a smooth and hassle-free login experience for users.

Unable to login

I am using same mobile since last couple of years and used this app few times during the period… But now it keep showing error new device and keep on asking birth date and OTP, I did it like 20 times but it shows same dialog, trying to use new device.

Also App Support doesn’t exist.

Pathetic app

Even though the amount was deducted from my account, the payment gateway was still processing the payment. From last 4-5 times, I am even not getting payment transaction completion confirmation in the app as the app gets crash and ask to re-login as soon as payment was getting completed. Earlier that was not the case as post payment, I was able to download/get the transaction copy pdf. Either improve your service or else completly close it and dont make fool of innocent people who are investing their hard earned money for future.

Issues

When app put to background and accessed again it is going total blackout screen and after that getting closed instantly automatically. Not showing running in background also. Seems some glitches.

Need more prof app

Try to withdraw in t2 u know the true color, acct not verified, try to verify, to get sms, app cannot switch, now start from beginning, when start again it crashes, if it comes back you get exceeded limit - last 5 days same story, also you Cant take screen shot in the name of security, cant switch one app to note the investment, always crashing, it continues to be slow mostly, new version unstable…product owner and dev team way to go, the rating is 2.6 you can try to go further down to 2.0…and -1.0..

Language selection issue

Every time I open the app, I have to select the language again, which is inconvenient. The language should be selected only once during the first use. If users want to change the language later, they should be able to do it themselves through the Settings option. This will improve the user experience.

Lacks basic engineering sense

Third class app , lacks basic engineering sense. Asking to write age for nominee and asking to write dob and later gives error saying age and dob dont match.. cant you guys calculate yourself?

To submit nomination mobile and email otps are triggered. When i switched to email the app state refreshed and i had start nomination process again but i am not able to submit new request as existing request is pending. Shameful engineering team

Innovative presentation missing

Actually, the app only shows XIRR. Since all the data is already available, it would be more helpful if the app also showed charts and graph type information for capital invested, appreciation, total amount, and similar insights. It would also be useful to compare the portfolio with Nifty and other indices.

Basic data can be maintained in Excel by any user, but an app should provide additional insights in a smart and innovative way. Only then does it feel worth downloading.

Your website also doesn’t offer these features. I hope you will take this feedback positively.

User Cannot See Units

As far as app is updated, the user Cannot see his Units in his account. He only can see Total amount with returns. If you want to see investment amount you need to download statement, where also you cannot see how much Units you’re having. The returns are solely depends on the units but unique thing is you cannot see units in app

Issue with app

Keep getting error message that I have logged in another device. When click to proceed it is asking me to enter the OTP but no OTP is received. Working fine when logged in thru browser. Please fix.

Modal dialog is not getting closed even after app update

When am trying to login it’s asking for app to update after update it’s still showing that dialog box and not allowing for login can you please correct it

What is the issue with this app. I have the updated version still it is continuously asking to update , taking me to the app store saying to open and then going back to the same page with the same error. What is this rubbish loop.

Dear NPS Authority,

I recently attempted to register for the National Pension System via the Protean NPS mobile application. However, during the process, the app unexpectedly crashed before I could complete the registration. When I tried to resume the process, I received an error stating that “CRA already exists.”

Despite this, I have not:
- Received any confirmation email or SMS or PRAN number
- Made the initial Tier 1 deposit of ₹500

Then I checked on the desktop website it shows - Duplicate Mobile Number Exist in CRA System Please try Different Mobile Number - when I try to register.

When I use the Continue Pending Registration option on the website it gives error - No record found for the given Search Criteria

Then I tried to contact via the website which opened a page where it seemed in order to log my grievance I'd have to log in first so finally found this email address of Grievance officer and sent an email.

It came with an automated reply asking me to go to Log your grievance website where I have to log in to log the grievance.

Then I tried the toll free numbers which put me in the IVRS loop.

Unable to login

I can reset password multiple times through official website. While it worked fine on the website, the mobile app says user id/I-PIN incorrect even with right credentials.
Unable to reset the password through mobile apps, it gives you errors like password incorrect , password expired.
Tried reinstalling and different special characters still no luck.

Please fix the login issue. It’s really frustrating

Smart Retirement Planning

This app is a game-changer for pension management. I can view my holdings, track NAV and download statements instantly. The Retirement Goal Planner is a brilliant addition—it helped me visualize my future corpus and adjust my contributions accordingly. Kudos to the developers!

Pathetic user experience while login

I think the developers are still in 90s and not upgraded to 2025. At least you hire new UI developers or content developers as the create account or login or change password UI is. Literally terrible. we will get to know about password requirement only once we enter and submitted the details, such a poor UI designer you have. You should provide proper hint, which should be accessible for assistive technology uses as well That should communicate, what are the expected format of the information. I can offer some free courses if you really wanted to learn these basics. Please, Google, what are the 10 steps to make login or create account page experience better?. I know you are going to reply me with thank you for your feedback and write your feedback and suggestions to some email IDs or links. Nobody going to do that.

Error

This app was working perfectly fine till some time back. But from last couple of days getting Unexpected Error occurred message and not able to login, can not get through what is the error.

Scam app

Be careful scam app .. looting lot on gst on pension. I am not able to take money out of account. It’s making account inactive most of time to doom you savings.

Great Improvement!

The complete app overhaul was a welcome change. My only gripe is that I am unable to see all my contributions. I have been investing since April 2024 but it has only got data from September 2024. It will also benefit to have two separate sections where Tier 1 and Tier 2 contributions are listed.

Does not seem to be working half the time

On Monday I opened my NPS account. But the money was not credited to NPS but it was deducted. I tried to call and complain but someone was cutting the call by using the receiver tactic which was audible. Next day I complained but I have yet to get a call or an email. Today I tried to complain through the app and lo and behold I got and Error saying to contact the System Administrator. Governments and budgets will come and go but government apps will remain useless.
