Latest update drops support for some devices

Before the latest update the app bimodally controlled my Nucleus 8 and Amplifon R 5 OM 13T, which is a rebranded Resound Omnia. This update does not detect the Amplifon. Confirmed by my audiologist. Fortunately still have full bimodal use and control using iOS accessibility settings.

Costly update

I paid $3000 for hearing aid that is compatible with my cochlear app and the app will not pair with both my hearing aid and Nucleus cochlear implant, after installing update.

The new update is now working.

After many attempts and several days of trying to get the app to work it is now working. When I first got it to work all of the features weren’t working so I started again and it wouldn’t connect. I waited a few hours and it had finished the setup while I was doing something else. Everything is working now.

Not working as it should

It’s repeatedly goes off line and you have to start from scratch to pair your hearing aids. I don’t know how older people are managing with this sort of challenges but l as a health care professional, have difficulty to navigate between the accessiblity and back to the app and still not working. I followed the advice step by step.
It’s a waste of time. A new better working app needed.

New UI

I think it looks good. The cards and thicker borders were a good style choice. From one dev to another, I appreciate what you are doing.

Terrible app

This app is horrible for connecting my cochlear. It connects my hearing aid just fine, but my cochlear is continually disconnecting and I have to restart everything. It's such a pain. It tries drives me me

Update caused my devices to be removed and now can’t access my hearing aid

My cochlear implant connects fine but I can’t import the right side as the app think it’s still connected when it’s actually my left cochlear

Thanks for making harder to use now

Latest update is Broken!

I’ve had this app for a few years now since I first got my N7 processor.
This last update is BROKEN, does not allow your processor to connect to the phone properly to be able to find the connection to activate the tv adapter to hear the TV directly to the processor. The app is messed up!
App folks need to get back into the app and find the connection error and fix it asap as there are many people not able to use this app version!
I was able to figure out a way to cheat and bypass the app to get it to allow me to stream from TV to my processor but it’s a boogered up way to have to do it! Please fix ASAP

Smart app problem.

For the past couple of days this app keeps telling me that my N7’s cannot be recognised. Never had this problem before. Have deleted app and reinstalled, works for a short time and then get the same message again. What is happening?
The above problem keeps happening. Today Saturday May 10th it has happened 3 times, each time I delete the app, reinstall it and go thru the whole process of pairing everything again. What is the problem. My phone is an Apple iPhone 14 and is up to date with the latest version. It is driving me mad.

Upgrade no longer works at all

Whereas for five years I could use the app to hear through both my Resound hearing aid and cochlear implant now after the upgrade the app gives me an error message that it will only work with one of my devices and to contact my clinician. When I called cochlear technical support they could not fix the problem and I got disconnected. So now I cannot connect to my phone or any of the accessories. I asked to get the previous version of the app that worked and cu hear could not do that. This app is the worst and most frustrating app I have been forced to use. I’m not sure if I had the choice that I would get a Cochlear brand implant as opposed to a competing brand.

The updated app reset the connection

I have my app have already connected to my resound hearing aid and cochlear implant together. After the updated, I went to the app and the saved data isn’t working, telling me to forget all devices in my iPhone settings. Now I faced two choices, one is to update to previous version of the app but there’s no way to do that, which left my last choice is to forget all devices, then I tried to connect both devices but it’s only allow one device to connect. Make it wasted a lot of time which I have to make an appointment with my audiologist to connected both devices since audiologist’s schedule is tight.

Latest update is a failure

No matter what I do, I cannot get the app to recognize my ReSound HA. No problem for 2 years, and now after the update, I can only connect my Cochlear device. Very disappointed.

Change back

It would be nice if this app could be in dark mode. I have hearing and VISION impairments and it’s hard to navigate the app not being in dark mode

Worse tracking I have ever seen

I spent hours lookin for my
device because it kept on changing positions it told me it was in the street, in my neighbors house, but it actually turned out to be in my bathroom where the app never located I hate this app

This my review of the update

( updated post****I am now 5 years into being implanted bilaterally and have been using this app all this time. So today you decided to update the app and thats fine. But it took me a good 15 minutes to pair both my N8’s to this new setup. What a mess impair them from the phone repair them to the phone and still the app did not see them. It never did see my right processor at all but when I finally gave up and just went with the left magically it popped up when I finished the process. All this and when I finished the app was virtually the same with same with some remote services not available to me and now has a day background I hate. So for now on if the app gets apiaries for any reason I can expect to spend 15 to 20 minutes trying to get it to repair by unpairing my processors and repairing them to my phone and let the app see if it can find them over and over again. My question is WHY? Make it easier to pair and unpair and add devices not harder and yes I have a iPhone 17 pro max up to date and both processors have the latest firmware just had a mapping last week so again you keep making this app worse gotta remove some stars now.(previous post****I gave it four stars and that is being nice. Truth is the app is not all that, I am bilateral and rarely does the app see my right processor. With that thought it also has issues with my streamers too. My iPhone 13 is up to date same with my 12 both are plus max makes no difference. My Wi-Fi is very robust and I’ve done everything I know to work around vpn off and such. The only work around is to turn off the phone and back on. Then it seems to work and even then I at times have to delete and redownload the app and it will work again. Next it just freezes for no reason and back to the work arounds I go. This IS a up to date Apple phone I’m using here so the only thing that is wrong is poor app performance. Does it work? Yes but it also drops my right processor too and before you ask it’s not my right processor. It’s been replaced and the same thing happens. I even had my right implant replaced same thing. At this point it boils down to software so please develop a better app. Before losing my hearing in a accident I was a software engineer. If you want help I would love to offer input.

Terrible App

It only intermittently connects to my hearing devices. It takes lots of steps & resets to get the app to connect, even when I can see it is connected to my iPhone in Settings, Hearing Devices. Even when connected, it is clunky & slow. I have been trying to use the app with a cochlear processor & hearing aid for over two years. No improvement.

Cochlear Implant

To be honestly, KISS (keep it short and simple) in my opinions that this app seem like suck because it’s wasn’t working good and with no warnings to give you head up in case if your cochlear implants get lost or any good reasons. Would be nice to get this app improve more better technology! Sorry but not sorry because truth hurts😔 how much it cost for tiny cochlear implants same with hearing aids.

Bad data sync

I want to track my hearing and it doesn’t do a good job. It had to estimate several days rather than actually tracking. I don’t understand the purpose of location finding.

Great app

I’ve had this app since 2004,again in 2014.and it’s 2026 now.apps great but I think it come with a mute button instead of of turning the app to loose the sound
