Wellbeing trial

The most equipment I have seen in any Gym and units always available when I need them.
I was also tutored by Fern who provided how to make the best use of the equipment and gave me the confidence to use them

My lifeline

This isn’t just a gum it’s a community, all ages abilities, shapes and sizes, no judgement, everyone is welcome. Fantastic trainers, fabulous equipment and the classes are the best possible.

Mrs

I have been a member in Ilford Nuffield for about 4 years. I have throughly enjoyed my experience there.
However unfortunately our steam room has not been working for over two months and the upstairs toilet which so many elder people use has also not been fixed for several months. Anything that gets on broken does not get fixed and we all complain and EMail to the head office but nothing seems to happen!
Hopefully giving this feedback you will look @ Ilford Nuffield and make changes because I would not like to change gyms but if things do not change I will be taking my membership somewhere else where I can have the facilities I pay for! Please look into this and make changes before lots of people take there membership somewhere else because the payment we all make every month is not cheap. We just feel that if we pay every month a certain fee for services we all deserve this service.
Kind regards

Booking a class

Difficult to book a class at 07:00am .

Great gym and swimming pool

I love the classes and different centres, I can go too if I am working in a different area I always get to swim or do a sauna steamer. The classes are great too.

Booking impossible

Very hard to book the classes you want.
Management with only one aim, to sign up as many people as possible regardless of the impact on the current membership.

Classes are cancelled constantly

Like going to the classes but the gym in Chester seems to have trouble retaining staff and covering classes PLUS they got rid of 2 Zumba teachers because the classes weren’t full but haven’t replaced them with a similar class or even anything like it. Very unimpressed

Nightmare booking system

Gym is great if you can ever get booked in a class, booking opens at 7am for everyone and 9/10 the system crashes due to the volume of people on it! Their IT department really needs to sort this out

App Is Constantly Crashing

App is total garbage. Constantly crashes, can’t find your bookings, won’t let you book classes

Impossible to get into a class

Pointless joining this club as over 5,000 members looking to get into classes. Virtually impossible

Terrible app

This app constantly asks me to set my club as I log in at 7am to book a class, which sets me back so I cannot book my class in time and might end up on a waiting list. And at peak times it won’t react properly as it cannot cope with peak demand (!) and all too often it says it is booking me in and does not. I have to re-press book 3 times and by the last time my class is already booked full. And you will only know if you are actually booked in by receiving the email. You cannot rely on the app at peak times. Terrible. This app has only got worse over the years. Plus the page where it shows what you have booked does not show if you are actually ’in’ on that class or not. You have to go onto the details page to see that. Stupid.

Difficult to book classes

Good luck booking a class you want unless you have a finger poised at 6.59 each morning, not enough flexibility

Need more classes!!

I would like to have more options for classes as they are often booked up with big numbers waiting, this has to indicate the need for more classes.

No calf machine!

I know training calfs isnt popular in this country but not even a single machine? Not only 1?
Put just one and i may change my review

Poor App!

This app always seems to have errors, limited in what in can do! Can’t show you the swim timetable at your club which seems silly when it is supposed to be for your gym. Always bugging out on me, not loading! Considering this is one of the higher priced gyms, the app does not match the standard you’d expect when paying so much!

Terrible Class Booking App

The App is shockingly poor. When there are issues IT at Nuffield Head Office refer you back to the club. The club refers you to IT at Head Office. No one takes accountability which is very frustrating and terrible for the blood pressure. Totally counterintuitive to what a health and leisure club should be promoting.

Fab gym & facilities

I was at Pure Gym in the City of London, and after the 2nd gym of theirs closed down, I’d had enough and joined Nuffield - which is a breath of fresh air to me.
The facilities are so good, as are the classes and the fact that towels are available.
Definitely worth the change of gym!

Nuffield Cheam

All classes good in particular Lizzy and Donna Pilates. Antony Young kettlebells and Andrea Zumba look forward to all these classes.

Rate the instructors

Would be nice to add a prompt to rate the instructors and be able to drop a review.

Cheam Nuffield club

I have been member for 25 year. I enjoy visiting the club to workout . The staff are very friendly and polite makes one feel at home.
Club itself is good but booking app is not so good.
We have to set an alarm to wake up at 6:58 to be ready to book when the App opens at 7 am and still cannot get in. I suggest that the App opens up at 7pm rather than 7 am so that we don’t have to deprive our sleep and be disappointed at the same time when one doesn’t get booked for a class.
Also by increasing the low intensity class number to 25 could also slightly open up for those of us who are interested getting in to classes
Thank you
