Great app, simple to use

Very simple, clean app—no clutter, no ads, just bare bones food and calorie tracking.

Most brand-name foods I’ve entered they seem to have, which is nice.

Very happy, zero complaints. Not the most sophisticated food or fitness tracker, but that’s not what I want anyway.

The best app!

I absolutely love this app!aside from the traditional apps, this one has been a godsend for me on my weight loss journey!

Excellent app

Stopped working

Whatever you are doing to this app you should fire whoever did it. Have been using it for years and today I get a message that my account needs to be activated by using an email link that doesn't exist. It has become useless garbage and I am done.

This new version rocks!

This new version is packed with useful functionality that works. It is consistently laid out, intuitive, and it delivers. I was thrilled to log into the app after being gone for almost a year, waiting for the new version, and finding all of my recipes and history intact. Bravo! It is certainly worth the weight!

Gone?

I logged breakfast yesterday and when I tried to log lunch I was unable to log in. Odd, since I had never logged out. I’ve tried everything and basically I believe the app just shut down. I found several responses on Google that the company sold the app and it now is for corporate use only. I found one “notice” from Track stating you can export your data, but that doesn’t work either. Sad ending to an app I used daily for years.
This review was written 5/17/2026 and apparently did not “send”. I just downloaded the app from the cloud 8/8/2026 and it appears fine, but all my data is gone.

It’s easy

It makes carb counting easier

Love this app!

This app is awesome and has a barcode scanner which mfp took away without a paid subscription. Pretty much everything ive scanned has been in their database. Making recipes is sort of difficult but thats about it. Id totally recommend it!!

Fix the Glitches

I want to give this app a higher approval. Unfortunately after using Nutrition IX for 6-years with brief periods moving away to try something different, same problems still exist.

First should always have to go into preferences to tell the app to push or pull data for exercise and weight. The app remembers setting for nutrition sharing with other apps, but NOT exercise and weight.

Update information about food products. Still using same photos from 2020; e.g Coke Zero. Hello! Coke has changed the formula. Leads to believe that data is inaccurate.

NutritionIX could be so much more if it would just fixed its glitches. Keep the software updated. Maybe even modernize the interface.

Lost history

The app keeps logging me out and when I log back in I loose all my history.

Best free calorie tracking app

Only thing it requested was user account, and vamonos, started counting calories, no bs subscription, ads, or any other annoyance other than pure focus on counting my calories through the day.

Long awaited update

I used this app several years ago but it stopped working,mi couldn’t get the updated app. . I went back to My Fitness Pal out of desperation. Recently, I took a chance to see if Nutritionix was available again. Needless to say I was THRILLED to have access to it again. This app is easier to use compared to MFP. And I don’t have to pay to get additional features such as bar code scan.

Easy to use

Very simple to use & I love that! It does exactly what you need to count & keep track of what you ate. Good App

Don’t bother

This app used to be great. However it frequently has issues. You can’t access your account for days/weeks due to “upgrades”. Meanwhile I can’t even access past data to share with my physician. The “upgrades” don’t appear to change much of anything. Due to instability, I can’t recommend it anymore. I’ll be letting my physician’s office know they need to recommend something else.

Great but occasionally wipes out all of my info which sucks bad

Great app however, occasionally all of my tracking information completely gets wiped out so I cannot go back and see my weight trends or calories that I had on previous days and sometimes it even wipes out my stored foods that I’ve been using so I have to reset that all up again so if they would eliminate this problem, it would be a much better app
