Fix MIQ!
Doesn’t Work For iPad
Crashes at launch recently
—-
I’ve been a regular scanner, turned on Bluetooth exposure checks, everything. But just a few days ago the app started crashing at launch. Deleted it and reinstalled. Rebooted my phone. Everything I can think of. Have started to use Rippl in the meantime as I hope maybe it is some bug that will be fixed in next release of this app.

Thanks for getting in touch to let us know. We are aware that NZ COVID Tracer currently crashes on the beta release of iOS 14.5. There is now a new version of the beta (beta2). Please upgrade to beta2 when it is available to you. This may take up to a few days to appear. Please don't reinstall the app - this will delete your diary and won't fix the problem.

Needs to add diary entry on open.
So you still have to then stand there, navigate a few taps refocus and rescan the code. Really sub optimal.
If you really want people to scan then fix this behaviour/process so it’s a one stop one scan process.

Thanks for your feedback. We're working hard on making the registration process more streamlined and supporting built-in password managers is something we're looking into. I've passed your feedback onto the development team to include in the next release planning schedule.

Thank you for your feedback and support with using the app.
Make sure your “view my diary” is recording....
After much fiddling, logging out, and back in, restarting the iphone etc. I finally got the app to record QR code’s. (As follows)
I completely uninstalled the app from my phone (there is a warning on the MOH website about how you’re going to
“Loose your data” — but the app had NO HISTORY for me anyway...). Restarted the iPhone, reinstalled the app, and now it works...
My suspicion is that something went haywire in the upgrade from the old iPhone to the new iphone...
Wash your hands folks!
