Scrolling horrible on long text documents
Scrolling down doesn’t work and is incredibly frustrating on long text documents which is main reason I got this app for long notes.
My go-to for EVERYTHING
The title’s not a joke. Currently, I’m using obsidian to plan and write my novel (yes, inside obsidian!), manage long-term work projects, budget & track finances, and study blender. If it involves information, notes, data, studying, mood boards—you name it, there are plugins to shape this app into virtually anything. Sync is fairly cheap too, and I am happy to support the developer. 10/10, a software project that restores my faith in human ingenuity.

Just noting that search on iOS and Mac has stopped working today. Tested words that were copied from my obsidian notes and pasted into obsidian search. Doesn’t pick up any notes anymore. Any suggestions?

I really like this app, but it disappoints me to find out you can’t change the color of the line and arrow connecting things, but please add that it would be cool
No search feature?!
Everything has always worked fine but the last few weeks the search feature is completely broken, displays no results, and attempting to use it will break the rest of the app too and make it impossible to use until i reopen it. Admittedly, I have hundreds of files, but they're only text files, I'm not sure what is causing this? Should I relocate my files to another vault or something? Use another app? -_-

Can’t locate my vault in iCloud
Good grief it should be super simple to tell it how to locate my vault that is in an iCloud subfolder.

use icloud as base, I can sync the PC and mobile side notes, very powerful by MD format
The iCloud Sync is a little Glitchy
I downloaded this app on my phone and when I went to set up the sync, selecting iCloud as my option, after creating my vault, I got a black screen. There was nothing for me to select, it would not let me create a new note or anything, it was as if it crashed while trying to sync to iCloud or something. I closed out of the app, opened it back up, went through the process again, and still got the black screen of nothing. I even deleted the app and re-downloaded it, went through the process, and still got the black screen of nothing. I had to create a vault WITHOUT setting up the sync in order to get it to work. I might try setting up the sync on my computer to see if that works, but if you are on an iPhone, this app is a little glitchy when it comes to setting up the sync using iCloud. Other than that, it works okay for what it is.

I exported all Evernote to this and took me a day only to find its worse! I open the iOS app and it hangs on the last opened note for ages, the saying loading workspace with a restart app button. Went to website but you cant access via browser!! Literally cant access a single note and now im back to evernote!

Legacy hardware support
I can’t express how grateful I am that the app makes older versions available to old iPads, which have lost functionality in a really frustrating way. There used to be apps that worked great, the OS was fast, and browsers actually worked, but now they’ve been abandoned in favor of shinier revenue streams for apple. I’m so glad I can use my old iPad mini 2 (which I paid a lot of money for) to jot down and see my thoughts on the bigger screen and that I can breathe new life into a device I felt bad for not using even though she’s a perfectly good little device which deserves to be useful.

Not as private as they claimed
I used this platform to begin my writing journey at the time and somehow, someone managed to access my work while using it. I had all of my devices accounted for. All of my login credentials were also secure, but somehow someone was able to directly edit into my work without my knowledge. I had noticed that this person was using this platform somehow on my account as if it were theirs even though I had not given them any of my login credentials. All I could do at the time was delete everything promptly and redo everything from scratch on paper. This platform gave me too many trust issues, and it takes 30 days to erase everything from their backup. Overall do not recommend, especially since it was unpublished work.
