App won’t connect
iPhone cannot connect via Bluetooth so the app is completely useless. Also, the instructions say hold the button for five seconds when in fact, you have to tap it five times. Does anybody proofread the instructions for this thing? I really liked it before I discovered the app, now I think it’s a poor product way to go guys.

I’ve owned two of these and they no longer function by the app remote. I do use them as portable lights, but I have to manually control them. Big fan of the flashlights, but this line, No!
App Useless
The app won’t connect to the unit, so it’s useless. I have tried every possible way, all the directions, 2 Obulb pros, nope. They know it doesn’t work, customers are complaining, but where’s the support? Redo your app, make the changes it needs so that it can actually support (or even connect) your device. Leaving customers hanging is bad business, I bought Obulb because I heard good things as a company. This experience and lack of app changes is not what I expected. Love the bulb, wish it would do what it claims. App is junk and needs a new developer. Or maybe an actual one.

Not worth the download. Although the manufacturers lights are awesome, they fell short with the app. Description to set light into network mode is incorrect, please read your directions that came with your bulb pro. The application then does not sense the light. Hopefully they update the app, would love to add more stars to a fantastic light product but a poor application to utilize its functions.

Update NEEDED
The App functional but is desperately lacking in features and reliability.
Upon many occasions the app will simply stop functioning, requiring you to relaunch the app, and less frequently you will need to re-pair your device.

Draining my phone battery!!!
Suddenly my iPhone battery won’t stay charged. It’s from OLIGHT running in background on one Obulb accd to battery usage info on my phone.
No longer works at all - noticed a new hub app!?
I’m loving these newer Obulb pro’s and this app but it’s missing some vital features like having Siri turn on off and select modes. Also a widget for direct control from the Home Screen or even better,the Lock Screen. Siri is a feature with so many apps now and my Govee strip lights have it so it’s doable. Lastly it drops connection a bit to often and reloading the app doesn’t always fix it a few times I’ve had to physically get up and turn the Obulb off-on again then it usually picks it up again. I know it’s a new product and your a great company so really hope you continue to support the app and add features as you can make what is already a great product even smarter with those features. It’d be a five star app then…😎👍

I’m not sure what you done but the app won’t pick up any of my Obulbs. I’m not getting more or the new torches until the software side of this is fixed as without the app it’s not really that smart to get a pro - the MC will do. Even when the app did work it still automatically disconnects to save on juice so you still have to get up to turn each bulb on so may as well just get the MC bulb. No app needed. The app is trash. In the settings app and any number of Bluetooth sniffing apps I can see I am connected to all my bulbs but as the apps saying they’re offline it’s nothing doing! I’m a bit shocked to see another app - fix this one first…

Abandonware
They abandoned this app, and the associated obulb pro, when they released the new OLIGHT Hub app, and the new pro-S. Very disappointed in this decision, especially since this app is hardly finished.
Candle mode please
Works well… As others have requested, please add a candle mode, and some way to save our own custom colours the we can cycle thru without the app… OBulb Pro is a great little product… cheers 😎
Bulbs won’t wake up
After the bulbs are off for half a day, they won’t wake up unless manually turned on.
Good, but can get better!
First off, the app works great for its intended purpose. I have used this for camping trips and had the O bulbs all over site and in my tent. However, where I think it could be slightly better is if there were some type of apple watch support to go along with it. Maybe even being able to integrate with the action button on my Apple Watch ultra to “magically” light up a camp site would be incredible! And utilizing the crown to adjust colors of the bulb(s) would be the sprinkles on top.

Sleep Timer!
Why can’t a sleep timer be added to this app? This would be an excellent feature.

Potential to make the Obulb Pro great
This software is at best a remote control to switch on and off the features of the Obulb, in my case.
Since software can be improved and modified, my one feature wish list would be a schedule feature, having the ability to set an On and Off time.
This would value ad a feature and elevate the functionality of the Obulb.
I rarely write reviews, I wonder if they a read by the developers?

App sketchy
Love my Obulbs-have a bunch. App though isn’t great. First, trying to add a new pro bulb takes way too many attempts & the instructions are not accurate. Secondly, the color shown on the color wheel and the actual color coming from the bulb are nowhere near the same most of the time. I realize color is sometimes dependent on brightness, but still.

Disappointing.
The app hardly goes further than the button control on the light. There aren’t any fun or special controls when grouping lights. I expected chases or intelligent behavior like music reactivity… but all you can do is pick between W(warm), R ,G ,B ,RainbowFade ,RainbowFlash, and red strobe… in addition, the app lets you set the brightness. ಠ_ಠ
DEV: please add some fun chases, cool patterns that can only be used with 2 or more lights, maybe app based music synchronization or visual audio eq… otherwise why have groups? so I can turn them all off at the same time?…

Early release needing additional functionality
The app is very basic at this point with color changing, on/off, and grouping for on/off control.
Needs ability to control group settings same as individual light controls.

Light is good. App is garbage which definitely impacts the use of the light. Devil to connect. Once connected, goes offline in 10 - 15 mins.
Obulb Pro Orange
Totally cool product, easy to use and navigate with the help of the user manual. The Apple App makes it even easier to use and select a bunch of colors from a custom color scale.
I agree with another review I just read. I would also like a timer setting added via the Apple App so the light would automatically turn off at night. 👍
