Disappointing
On Octopus Intelligent Go and was hoping for visibility of usage AND rates without having to wait for my monthly bill. This App just assumes the rate to be used based on the time of day consumed which does not reflect the actual DYNAMIC rate that Octopus may apply outside of the default cheap times. Hence, can’t see actual cost as rate is unreliable. Disappointing.

Fails to pick up gas tracker rates
I loaded this specifically to track my gas consumption and cost. Unfortunately it doesn’t pick up the fact I’m in a changing tracker rate - you can only enter a fixed price

App wont work on Mac 0s with M2 processor?
App loads and works ok on IOS ipad but not on my Mac.....opens with Authetication....then immedialey goes to Something Wrong pop up flashing....have sent screen grab to Octopus

Does exactly what you want to check consumption & cost. My in-house meter does not distinguish between offpeak and dayrate this works perfectly giving exact daily cost.

Good app works well with octopus usage data and all tariffs Need a app now to read outgoing agile gives kWh values but not cost but if your on agile then this is a good app Regards Stewart

Shows my usage as 0.00kEh every day. The tarrif it finds is correct but doesn’t show any usage?

Never shows Electricity cost
Not the greatest App. You have enter gas rates manually and never been able to load electricity rates from Octopus. My Bright App works fine and it’s free!!!

Excellent support
This is quite a simplistic looking app but it provides very valuable information. Given the uselessness of the in-home display you get with smart meters (mine has never shown the daily gas readings) this is a well laid out alternative.
When I noticed that the standing charge was wrong I submitted an email to tech support and Rob was back in contact within minutes, on a Saturday night, to look into it. Turned out that Octopus had changed the daily standing charge from 26.5p per day to an eye-watering 48p per day in the API data even though they’d not even told their customers yet. Having found the anomaly I expected that to be the end of it but the following day I got another email from Rob to say he’d fixed the issue and the data should revert back to its original state until the actual date of the increase, April Fools Day!!
Excellent service that is so often lacking these days. Keep up the good work

It’s great!
I use this every day - sad as it may seem! With energy prices on the increase I wanted a way of monitoring my daily usage of gas and electric. This app does just that. It’s helped me offset electricity usage onto the Go nighttime period. It also helps me keep on top of Octopus payments to make sure they’re not setting my direct debit too high.
My only suggestion for improvement is to have a graph that can track monthly usage (and have a line for the previous month for comparison).

Works fine, however it would be more useful if it stored more than the last 30 days i.e. monthly figures for the say the last 2 years.
