Scammy practice
This app is so scammy. They offer you a 3 day trial yet the trial does not appear in your subscriptions to cancel. I the went and tracked down an email to cancel within the 3 days and it took a week to hear back saying my subscription was cancelled. After they had already charged my credit card. I immediately replied asking if they planned on refunding me because I cancelled within the 3 day window. They never responded so I started a dispute with my credit card company. If this has happened to you too, I highly encourage you to dispute and leave a review here if you’ve encountered the same. They are ripping people off and getting away with it! Besides, you can get this info for free online anyway.

Difficult app
App will not let you cancel free subscription without having to go through loops.
Such a great app!
This app is so important as parent to have on your phone! Knowing where the danger is makes me feel safer!
Needs to update
There is a sexual offender that isn’t in here that is registered. Not sure how you don’t have everyone yet in this day and age and the technology but it’s not accurate. I know this because it happened to me and you don’t have him on here. He is incredibly dangerous. If your missing one then I’m sure your missing more. Great app to have but needs to be updated and be thorough.

good but should be free
its honestly dumb how it charges me to see these predators in more detail. it should be a free app that protects us and gives us access to all these predators history for free.
Used to love this app, but this new onboarding is atrocious…
I use to use this periodically in my area (I’ve got a young family). But I guess it’s been a while since using it because when I opened it today, I had to get past like 100 screens (swipes, taps, etc) before I even got to use the app. Much more fear mongering than before, sooo many unnecessary screens I had to get through before getting to want I wanted to see. And then… it was saying I had to pay for an account (it’s normal to see if people want a paid version, but they made it sound like that was the only option. It wasn’t made clear right away how to go with the free version). Finally asked for a review from me less than 2 seconds into being on the dashboard/map. Haha, well…. I’ll certainly leave you a review. I’m sure the actual app is great. But this feedback and poor review is for your onboarding. You need to seriously re-evaluate it.

The intake questions are weird. Plus,
It would make people feel much safer if they could access information about offenders near them without a pay wall. This type of information should be free. Do any of your profits at all go towards victims or aid campaigns? Wanna see potential threats near you? Give just give us $6.99🤩

Paying a fee for public information is absurd.
Everything this app charges you for can be found on your state governments website free of chard with no pay walls. Pics, address, charges. Everything free while this app charges for it.

You used to be able to use it for free now it won’t let me continue unless I buy a plan. This app doesn’t care about safety anymore they care about money

Cannot cancel
Literally impossible to cancel. 60$ and I cannot login or see how to cancel this membership. I have to change my card. Changed my card number and still charged twice
Scam
Do not download. There is a free website to get the same information without spending the money and hassle on this app. I wanted the free trial to see if it was something I’d use. The app literally makes it impossible to cancel the subscription. There is a review down below that really helped me, but without that I’d still be trying to cancel the subscription. It’s not worth what they charge when you can get the same information for free. They are still going to try and charge me for three months even though I’ve been trying to cancel since the first day i downloaded it. I am going to have to call the bank and have them cancel any charge from this app.

Cancel Nightmare
I’m not sure how to actually know how legit this app is, but I tried the free trial and I COULD NOT cancel it. It was NOT in my subscriptions, in the App Store, etc… I emailed them. No response. Surprisingly, they were “happy” to respond back to me after the trial was over and they charged me full price for the next month. Seriously? Is this how they’re doing business with zero warnings??

Shady billing - don’t do the trial
Tried the free trial and honestly felt it wasn’t worth it, you can find this info free on the national database. It seems dated too. I tried to cancel the first day but there was absolutely no option to do so anywhere on the app. It did not show. I read another review here that they recently ran into the same problem but then it attempted to bill for the subscription and wouldn’t ya know it NOW after they tried to take the money out it gives you an option to cancel your membership within the app. Just be transparent. If you have to dupe people into paying you $8 under the guise that they can cancel anytime but making it impossible to do so you’re doing something wrong.

I downloaded this and answered so many questions only to pay! Waste of my f’n time. No thanks! So frustrating. Why can’t I just download the dang app and do what it’s intended to freaking do!?! And on top of that you want me to pay after wasting my time.
