Bad communication
Certain sellers and buyers on this platform are very flaky. The platform should allow ratings for no communication to be included into their rating. For example, if I as a buyer, ask a question to a seller, but getting no response from the seller for days, weeks, months, then there should be a option where you can flag this seller for the no response. I understand that people are people, but it's what we can control within the app is the issue.

Gambling Ads
There’s wayyyyy too many gambling ads on this app. Wish the app store would ban any non gambling apps from hosting apps that show draft kings and other gambling content this heavily. Facebook Marketplace is unfortunately still the best way to buy and sell.

Terrible picture upload time/not even usable
This is the absolute WORST app I’ve ever used when it comes to uploading photos. Photos take FOREVER to load and error out many many times before the system accepts them. In addition, I’ve experienced out-of-sync photos between the app and the back-end server. This is obviously a long time known issue which the folks at OfferUp have NO interest in fixing. I wouldn’t advise loading and messing with this app or OfferUp for that matter as your experience will just end in massive frustration and huge amounts of wasted time. I would give this app negative stars if I could as it would surely deserve it.

No worth to advertise
I have advertised many many times on many different items i have had for sale and i feel they might have a fake team if people doing false inquiries.. thats my theory.. but maybe out of 30 or 40 items i have maybe sold 2 on this platform so to me NOT worth it.
No support
This is a terrible application because of their lack of support. They use robot and artificial intelligence to communicate with users, and I was deactivated after I was threatened at a meet up. I reported the user, and unfortunately the user reported me first and I was deactivated. This app and this company has now gone crazy with all the ads and doesn’t offer any support to their longtime users. I would not waste my time with this unless you wanna be frustrated down the road. Kiss my a.. OfferUp

Forced advertisement
I used to be on this app quite a bit, and now I’m deleting it. And that is due to being forced to watch ads.
I did not mind having ads as banners at the top, or ads mixed in with offers while I was scrolling. Now the app stops everything and forces you to watch a stupid game, play with increased volume and no capability to skip. No thank you.
