What's New in Ohmie

1.4.6

August 15, 2026

Big update! Ohmie's been busy at the workbench: - iPad learned to rotate. Every orientation now works — flip to landscape mid-lesson and paths, benches and labs re-flow to fit instead of locking you upright. - Components got rebuilt around seven hands-on benches. Read resistor color bands and stack your own band by band, sweep a potentiometer, flip real switches, seat a diode the right way round — then wire up an actual night-light from the parts drawer. - Capacitors is a full section now: nine benches of charging, holding, draining, fading and bursting, capped with a decoder bench that makes timing finally click. - Circuits II gets analysis you can feel — six new benches that put loads and loops under your fingers instead of behind formulas. - New WHY? button, starting in Circuits I. Every answer keeps its explanation one tap away — peek when you're curious, skip when you're sure. - The Discord door now stays open for good — grab the permanent invite from the News tab and come hang out. And as always: Ohmie keeps electrocuting bugs that could affect your experience! Found one that survived? Contact us at support@ohmie.io

User reviews

pay wall : good teacher but you wont review

just feels like ai slop also based off the way people advertise it. advertises like its duolingo but doesnt have any way to review concepts youve learned practically. also no way to go back on lessons if you accidentally tap. 30$ a year

Great help

Helps a lot with studying and learning about electronics

My first interactions

I was not expecting a lot but holy moly. This app will sure teach you what you need to know. The topics divided are well divided. You can skip things if you have some knowledge. All the drawing are well done. I was thinking not paying for the subscription but it is totally worthy.

Easy to understand and fun to learn!

I’m a student learning about electronics and electrical engineering. I like how fun and easy this app makes learning.

Power draw

I dont know why the app is drawing so much power for this app.

Please fix this.

Content is great.
