Too many ads
Always Temu or some other worthless ad comes up before I can use the app. Not ok

Like the app, the ads are downright predatory
The app itself is pretty good, it syncs with the scale seamlessly, calculates BMI range, and I love the weight trend chart! It’s pretty much the only reason I use the app.
It does “calculate” things like water weight it has no way of knowing from just the data it has(the weight the scale detects and the gender, height, and age you tell it) and I find it concerning that it is displaying those presumably made up numbers so confidently.
Now for my main gripe: the ads. I don’t have a problem with it having ads, I like how the app displayed them in the past with the large skip ad banner button that appeared after a few seconds always in the same place. I much rather have ads than pay a subscription. The problem is the content of the ads allowed on this app and the tiny little x you have to click 3 times to get into the app now. The vast majority of the ads I get are weight loss scam ads. I get that that might be what gets the most clicks on a scale app but that’s exactly what makes it so predatory. I’m not even trying to lose weight and they enrage me. Forcing people to see these blatant ai-generated scams promising “one quick fix” to lose weight before being allowed to weigh themselves and see their trends is in my opinion downright evil.
The only reason I keep using this app is that it has my trends from 5 whole years and I really like being able to see my progress like that.

IF I WOULD Have KNOWN PURCHASING YOUR SCALE & DOWNLOADING THE APP WHERE YOUR APP HAS ADS….I WOULD Have NEVER EVER NEVER PURCHASED YOUR SCALE!!!! HOW ANNOYING!!!!!

Went to log in one day and it logged me out and made me start all over erasing over a month of tracked progress
Horrendous app
When you download this app, adverts & phishing adds pop up, you can’t get rid of them and if you do click on an ad by mistake when trying to get rid of it, you’re sent a hackers email saying your phone has been hacked and infected with malware!!!! Do not download this app it’s horrendous!!!!

When opening the app, advert appears (currently for Google AI, but not always) which it is impossible to close, however long the app remains open.

Very inexpensive, this free app keeps tract of my weight, trends over weeks/months & congrats you when reach your goal. Just hit start weighing and it tracks it for you. Even gives advice or , BMI, fat %, & more! Amazing!

I got the scale about a week ago and I absolutely love it. I am 51 years old woman and I like all the different things it does.
I definitely recommend anyone to buy it. It measures my weight and many things like bone density and water and can help you with a goal weight.

After 3rd day can use app. Pop up games all the time. Really piss me off.

It is absolutely ridiculous that the app that come with a product I paid for has as many ads as this app does. Every single time I open the app I have to watch a 30-45 second unskippable ad.

COMPLETELY USELESS
I’ve used this app with my scale for a long time, and while the advertising has always been annoying, the ads were previously possible to close. The app is now effectively unusable.
When I open it, I get a full-screen ad with no visible countdown and no accessible way to close it. I have waited, clicked through the ad to the App Store, and returned to the scale app, but the ad is still there. The only apparent action available is to engage with the advertiser. I cannot get past the ad to access the app and record my weight.
I initially thought I must be missing something, but after reading recent reviews I can see that many other users are reporting exactly the same problem. Some users say the close or continue control is positioned somewhere inaccessible on their screen. Others have tried restarting their phones or reinstalling the app without success.
This is particularly frustrating because I already bought the physical scale. I should be able to access the basic functionality of the product I purchased without being trapped behind an advertisement.
It is also terrible advertising. Being forced to stare at an ad while being prevented from using the product I actually opened the app for does not make me interested in the advertiser. It makes me actively resent the brand being advertised.
Please fix the full-screen advertising implementation and restore an obvious, accessible way to dismiss ads. Until then, the app is functionally useless.
