“No go zone” issues
I want to set up areas that I don’t want cleaned, specifically under low chairs, stools, on top loose rugs or under sofas however the vacuum keeps going only to those areas instead. I’m assuming it’s just trying to map the area but it’s constantly getting stuck under gaps that are too small for it and it constantly needs my assistance. I use the K5 ultra model and I thought it would be able to detect effectively where it can’t fit and avoid those areas but instead it hugs around the bottom gif furniture and gets stuck. I feel like it doesn’t realise how to clean the open areas in my living room instead. And this is all happening on the clean arranged feature not the wall mapping one so I still don’t understand why it huge walls and furniture. If that could be fixed then it would be perfect as it does a good job sucking up debris, dust and fluff from my carpets. But people don’t buy these products because they’re lazy, they buy them because they simply don’t have time and are busy working. I don’t want to assist a robot that’s designed for automation and can’t complete its task properly. It’s quite literally a failure. Also the app is poorly designed and not the most intuitive to understand with first use. I feel like buttons should explain the exact features. The manual control should be less sensitive. There’s missing graphics and text only displaying the file names for the wall cleaning mode meaning if I’m away I can’t view that it’s cleaned the walls I just have to hope it has. Anyways these are small issues and aren’t worth knocking you guys down to a 1 star review. I’d say 2.5-3 stars and a lot of room for improvements.

Auto Empty
I wish the developers of the app would add the ability to manually auto empty the robot, and set how often you would like the robot to auto empty.
Most importantly PLEASEE add a button to empty the robot inside the app.

Vacuum never paired
The vacuum refused to pair and I figured it was a me problem but then followed another review’s advice to use SmartLife app instead and it paired perfectly through that! My robot vacuum was highly unresponsive to the remote, so having the ability to steer it via the app is so nice. Just not through THIS app

Mapping feature unworkable
I have OKP K5. The mapping feature is something I have ended up not bothering to try to use and feel very disappointed with - the shape of the map is so wildly inaccurate when the robot creates it, and it seems there is no way of editing it on the app or interacting with it in any way. So I can’t set no go zones (which means I have to close doors in my house and monitor the robot until it cancels the clean because it’s confused, or just use the manual feature which takes forever because you can’t make it go straight). It also means a lot of my house never gets cleaned, but a lot of it gets cleaned over and over. The app needs more features and it really needs to work on the map which is a key selling point to this Vacuume.

The app is very buggy
The app is very buggy. The lidar map occasionally does not show up. The note goes on does not work. If you can see my screenshot it's showing up that the robot vacuum is hitting the no go zones.

AWFUL
The app is terrible. It shows where the vac cleans, but doesn’t segment it by room, so you can never tell WHERE the heck it is. At the very least, it could show where the charging station is located. It’s not worth anything if the map can’t show you exactly where in your home the vacuum is without having to push the stupid alert button so it plays a sound until you physically find it.

The fact that you need it connected to the app in order for the vacuum to even clean should have been a huge red flag.
Vacuum keeps disconnecting from the app, so you have to reconnect it every few days and redo all your settings(volume, programmed cleans, restricted areas etc.)
I regret buying these vacuums so much.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Our latest update now allows account unbinding without data deletion. Additionally, the robot vacuum has a battery protection feature: if it’s off the charging dock with no cleaning task for 5 minutes, it will enter sleep mode. You can then press the button to wake it up.
Very confusing and malfunctioning
I bought this over a year ago and still the same problem . I put it to charge it starts cleaning I just turned it on today and it happened to be working . Terrible product not worth it at all!

Can’t even get the app to connect even with my WiFi in 2.4 it gets to 85% then says it’s not in 2.4. Waste of time and money to get this vacuum and app !!!!

App doesn’t work!
I have tried multiple times to add a new device to the app, and each time it gives me an error message when it gets to 87%. I even reached out to support for help and followed the steps given. After it failed, the tech team person told me to contact our isp to change something to the internet, which my husband said it didn’t make any sense. Something is not right on the app. The previous app I used had worked perfectly. I now cannot use the app which had all the routine setting features. My robot vacuum still works but without the ability to use the app. Lastly, I even bought a iPhone thinking that might help. My previous phone was an android. Will OKP look into this app problem? Like I previously mentioned, the old app had worked perfectly on my old android phone. Other reviewers also had issues with the app not working.

New update is making my hoover stay on 14 % battery even though it is fully charged. The battery is brand new so it must be software. Please fix it my hoover was a gift and it’s not working

The vacuum it self has been amazing from day one. The app on the other hand took about 6 months to finally connect and work. Now that the app and vacuum have sink, I love it even more!!
