Drains battery like no other app

Even though background refresh is turned off, if you don’t force close the app it will happily consume >30% of your battery during the day even if you don’t use the app

Clunky

Like others have said this app is sooooo sloooow. I have AAA games that load way faster than this. And you can’t look away for more than 2 seconds and it will do it all over again.

Also, the interface is poorly designed and clutters the experience.

Honestly you are probably better off finding what you are looking for by using meet mobile, swim cloud, and your team’s website.

Annoying - keep navigating back to page if you switch context and back

If you’re looking at a meet info and need to check your calendar or your athlete’s PB, and then get back to this app, it just starts over. Which means you must waste 2 mins every time to navigate back to that meet info you were looking at.

Why?!

App does everything it needs to…except keep you logged in. This app acts like it holds the US nuclear codes and immediately logs out and takes you back to the start if you move out of the app at all. So grab a 2nd device if you need to use it because you can’t check your calendar and use the app at the same time. It’s fine.

Version 8.2.1

There is a regression in standards. Standard time is not respected, all swimmers show v above cutline.

OnDeck Refresh Annoying

The developers of this app need to change how this app reloads every time you leave the app for 2 seconds and then come back to it. I wish it would just stay on the page you were on when you temporarily leave the app.

Few issues

Time standards are not current and they have been out for several weeks now. Cannot sign up for jobs on the app.

Refresh

It’s a good app. Main thing that keeps me from using it is anytime I switch to another app and then come back, Ondeck re-logs in and takes me back to main screen. Very slow and very frustrating.

Doesn’t work

App opens to a login screen. If you don’t already have a username and password it’s unusable. Help link is broken. No option to register or a link to anything. Useless.

Stopped working

Ability to sign up for events and volunteer positions stopped working, and unable to contact for a resolution.

Job signup not working after 07/01/2024 update

After being forced to grade to the release on 07/01, I am not able to make job signup as a parent, it can only view existing filled up slots.
I believe the permission enhancement in the version broke the function.
Older android app and website still work.

Recent updates are degrading the usability

User experience has taken a hit in recent updates, it’s now even harder to navigate than it was before with confusing, poorly thought out user journeys.

AND if you don’t swipe to force close the app it destroys the battery!!!

On Deck

More reliable than the heat sheets!

App crashing

The last 2 days as soon as I do anything in the app it crashes. Pretty good app but design, layout and functionality of it doesn’t make sense to me. Could be so much better.

Great

It is so easy to use!

Version 7.3.35 Kills my battery!

The old version was fine but the new version kills my battery 😖 Had to turn off mobile data to it. Real pain. Please can it be edited to only use data when you open it and not run constantly in the background

Best times button

For months now when you tap the “Best Times” button the app crashes and closes.

This used to be a great feature to view all of the swimmers times in one spot. Now the only way in is click on the swimmer and then find the “best times” button for that individual.

It would be ideal for that bug to be fixed please.

I tried re-installing the app today, but the same issue reoccured.

Please help!
