The worst app to ever exist
I have never been more frustrated by an app than I am by One Tap Away. It keeps logging me out without my doing so and whenever I try to access my account again it tells me I have the wrong password. Since I had to reset my password before because of ongoing problem, I took a picture the last time I reset it and yet it still won’t let me access my account. I’ve tried resetting my password again, except it keeps telling me that I’ve used that password before. The problem is that I am trying to create new passwords that I have never before used, ones with completely random sequences that I couldn’t possibly have used. I’ve now tried this two dozen times and yet it will not let me access my account. I have money on that account that I can no longer use that this app just gets to keep. I can now no longer use the laundry in my building and will have to pay more to send it out. Also, don’t try to use the Google or Apple automatic login because God forbid you ever accidentally used the wrong one. It will not let you change it even if you delete the account, delete the app, or delete even the information from your phone. This app is such a scam and I hate that my building doesn’t have another option.

literally so stupid and annoying to use, does not connect to machines in laundry room correctly and then logs you out and locks you out of your account with your money inside of it. i would rather use coins again than this app. wish i could give zero stars
Convenient
Gone are the days where we had to go to the bank, currency exchange or grocery stores to get change to wash our clothes. Now we can put what we need on an app. The best part is that we can see how long we have before our machine is done. Time is money. It takes some of the dread of doing laundry.
Badly maintained machines
The machines are not maintained. ON any given day, two of the three washers work. It’s a coin toss whether the driers will dry your clothes or just ruin them with oil stains. After a washing machine left some of my clothes dripping wet and others dry, I requested a refund and never got it.

If you want a refund it could be months.
I’m not a fan of this application. Your customer service isn’t when you respond quickly. Nor will they use your refund at any point within the first month and a half of you asking. This company is not helpful for people. Constantly asking to use auto reload. Not person friendly or good customer service. Be warned.

This app tracks you and sells your data
This app requires bluetooth permissions so that it can sell your data and the data of people you interact even if they don’t download the app. They convince your apartment building to use them so that they can sell all of the tenants data and all of their contacts. Contact your congressperson to ban this company and companies like it.

Beware before using
Why use this app when you have to wait 5 DAYS for your funds to be added?! Now I have to plan ahead to make sure I have enough money almost a week before I do the laundry!! Also will not let you use full funds so if you have $2.50 remaining in your balance you can’t do a load of laundry. I had to pull my wet clothes from the washer and air dry because the funds took so long. These should be communicated to the users before agreeing to use this app. Awful!

Location does not work
2nd UPDATE: procedure outlined in the response to this review does not work. I am aware of how to view availability at the property. The problem is that a completely wrong property is the only property visible in the app from my home! I cannot view the correct address unless I am physically in the laundry room.
UPDATE: support on the phone states that I have to be “in the laundry room” to see what machines are available. What is the point of an app then? Seeing availability is one of the only two selling points of this app- the other being that you don’t need quarters. Therefore the app does not work as advertised.
I have added my home building address to my profile in this app. Why, then, does it refuse to show me machines at that address? Instead, I can only see the availability of the machines in a different building next door. I can’t check to see if either of the TWO washers in my own building are available! The old CSC GO app worked better. If you insist on building the app based on Bluetooth and location, you should at least be able to save a “favorite” building, or show the building listed in a user’s profile. Showing whatever laundry machines happen to be close to a cell phone at any given moment is useless.

Garbage
The CSC app wasn’t great, but it worked. This app is awful. It doesn’t let you add time without exiting the app completely.
The added time is 5 minutes (really 4 minutes by the time the app is done processing). Who needs 5 more minutes? It oftentimes doesn’t recognize the machine (and we have a dedicated WiFi just for laundry). It doesn’t tell you which machines are available, and I can’t get my remaining balance off the CSC app. When reporting an issue, you used to receive an email that a report has been made; not anymore, apparently. The UI is like a big advertisement instead of a simple, straightforward laundry app. Time to save up to have a w/d installed in my condo

What’s with all the notifications?
There is no reason this app should be sending me notifications outside of telling me when my laundry is about to finish. Trash.
No Transparency
I only used the app to do laundry when their on-site machine was broken. I had been paying $1.00 per load. This app will not tell you what it costs to do laundry, and the price on the app is $2.50 plus multiple “convenience fees” when you don’t add the correct amount. This is a complete rip-off. They only make money because people are forced to use these terrible machines when traveling.
