I’m finding setting up your card far too complicated. Getting app, opening website getting visual ID, all just to spend a gift card

To Fafffy and hard to use

Why do you have to use the app to use the card. Also it’s hard to use both online or in store as you can only use one method of payment as this is used a a payment card. I feel like I won’t get to use this money at all. It seems retailers can’t just use part of it to use against a payment online. I won’t ever buy one of these and will tell friends and family not to bother either.
