What's New in OneTool

2.0

August 20, 2026

This is the biggest update to OneTool yet. The app has been rebuilt around what you actually do between jobs: sending, signing, and getting paid without driving back to the office. GET PAID IN THE FIELD • Send quotes and invoices to clients from your phone, with a preview of exactly what they will see. • Record cash and check payments on the spot, including partial payments that split correctly across installments. • Share a pay link by text or email in a couple of taps. • Add, edit, and delete line items right on a quote or invoice. A sent quote can be pulled back to draft, changed, and resent. • Extend a quote's expiration date without rebuilding it. SIGN QUOTES IN PERSON • Hand the phone to your client and let them sign on the screen. The quote is approved before you leave the driveway. • Every approval is recorded with who captured it and when. • Quote and invoice PDFs render the same on phone and web, so the document your client signs is the document they keep. PLAN AND RUN YOUR DAY • Today is your schedule, with Day and List views and a week strip you can swipe through. • Untimed tasks and multi-day projects get their own band so nothing hides. • Routes puts your stops on a real map, in the order you will drive themstops, and hand any leg to Apple Maps or Google Maps for turn by turn. SEARCH EVERYTHING FROM WORK • One search across clients, projects, quotes, invoices, contacts, and p • Results grouped by type with counts, so you can narrow down without typing more. • Recently viewed records are waiting for you before you type anything. MONEY IS NOW A DASHBOARD • Quoted, unpaid, and collected right at the top. • A collected chart by month, built from real payments. • Needs attention pulls up overdue invoices and quotes that have been sitting too long. • Recent payments, so you can watch money land. AN ASSISTANT THAT DOES THE WORK • Ask about your clients, jobs, or numbers and get a straight answer. • It can pull up records, draft work, and take you where you need to go. • It knows which screen you came from, so you rarely have to explain yourself. CREATE FROM ANYWHERE • The + button opens client, project, quote, or task in one tap, from any tab. • Starting a quote or project lets you add a brand new client without le • Actions you do not have permission to use stay out of your way. CLIENTS AND PROJECTS, REBUILT • Contacts carry call, message, and email on the row. Properties carry directions. • Upload and view documents on a client, the same way you already can on • Job site address, primary contact, and job progress are visible without scrolling. NOTIFICATIONS AND TEAM • Choose which push notifications you get, per business. • Get notified when a quote is approved or a payment comes in. • Team chat with mentions on jobs and quotes, plus a full activity feed of everything your team is doing. MADE FOR IPAD • Two pane layout with a sidebar, so a list and a record stay on screen together. • Works in both orientations, and rotating keeps your place. A NEW LOOK • A floating dock with the assistant at the center, and deep ink headers across the app. • Redesigned sign in, with a launch screen that fades straight into it. • Share a QR code for your public business page from your profile. Plus hundreds of smaller fixes: correct dates everywhere, steadier sheets and menus, bigger tap targets, and better contrast on every screen.
