Great that it’s free, but…
I really do appreciate that they made this app free, but the card draws are not actually random.
For example, let’s say you have played a tan sun, and a tan moon, and you have a tan key in your hand that you’re about to play. You will draw nightmare a card, and if you try to simply discard five cards from the deck instead of discarding the key, or the whole hand, you will draw another nightmare card. And another, and another, if you repeat the pattern. The game wants that key. This has happened to me way too many times for it to be random chance.
So it’s cool, but the game is hard enough as it is. I don’t understand why they added coding to make it artificially harder; it would be more fun if the card draws were truly random. Maybe it’s just a glitch; who knows?

Great game, wasted app
I’m glad I bought a physical copy of Onirim when I did. I originally discovered the game through this digital version, but sadly it seems it’s become nearly unplayable over time. I was miffed to lose my expansions after the app changed hands, and now I’ve revisited the app only to find it extremely glitchy: if it loads at all (if Game Center doesn’t crash it at launch), the pull-down for the settings menu renders a black screen, then a freeze before crashing to my Home Screen. Restarting the app, I can begin a new game, only for it to blackout, freeze, and crash as soon as I begin tapping to move cards. The biggest benefit to this app was the ability to hop into a quick game without needing to shuffle all the necessary cards myself. Big win for analog. Go buy the real Onirim & an automatic card shuffler; this app is barely hanging on by a thread, and the physical game has the benefit of multiple expansions bundled into one gorgeously compact box.

Bring back ability to fast forward
I’ve played this app 5-10 times everyday for the past year. Loved it. I’ve grown used to rapidly flipping through shuffling animations by pressing somewhere on the screen. For some reason, this feature was eliminated with the latest update. The game is way more tedious now that it’s forced to slow down (even with the ability to toggle animation speed in settings). It’s frustratingly slow now that I can’t speed things up at a finger press during gameplay. I regret installing the update- please bring back the ability to fast forward.

Please speed up animations dramatically
It’s great to see this app finally getting support again, but you’ve now made the animations bafflingly slow and have totally removed the ability to speed them up by holding on a blank spot on the screen. Why? Even at top speed, everything is extremely, unpleasantly sluggish. I used to play this app almost daily, but since this update, I get bored before I can even finish a game because I have to sit and watch for minutes at a time while the app sloooooooooowly shuffles through everything. Again, good to see someone caring at all about this app, but you’ve only made it worse at this point.

Great solo card game
Thank you, new developer, for acquiring this game from the prior owner and updating it to work properly. So good to have this back!
This is one of the best solo card games out there. Simple enough to not be off-putting to a casual gamer, but complex enough to keep you interested. And the expansions add even more interesting elements once you get the hang of the basic game, so you can change things up each time you play.
Perfect to play on a short work break since games only take a few minutes. And I’m so glad it’s in portrait mode, I don’t like landscape games.
It’s good on storage and battery too. The only glitch I’ve encountered is that sometimes it crashes when Game Center loads. But if you try again it works. No biggie, and I’m sure they’ll fix it at some point.
