Great Way to Start Swimming

This app was incredibly helpful with getting me back into the pool. The plans are well throughout and you feel like the training is tailored to you.

More swimming

Great app and even better coaches! I've really seen my swimming improve since I started using it, and I honestly look forward to every session. I've been swimming more than when I was on my own. Highly recommend if you're serious about getting better in the pool (:

This is an amazing application!

Learned to swim at 34

Bought this because my gym’s swim lessons were $90 an hour and had a 2 month waitlist. What sold me was the drill of the day small enough that I actually do it, instead of skipping a full workout because I only had 25 minutes.

Went from “flail two lengths, rest” to a real 1,200m session in about eight weeks.

Wish there were more beginner videos on breaststroke specifically.

Love it!

I’ve been swimming for three years and plateaued around 1:45 per 100. Signed up mostly to see if the swimming plan was real. Six weeks in I’m at 1:38. What actually did it wasn’t the plan — it was sending a video of my catch and getting frame-by-frame feedback showing I was dropping my elbow. Nobody at my pool had ever told me that. Worth it.

Using app since July

I’m 30 and could not swim a single length without panicking. Started Onpace in July. The first week was literally breathing drills at the wall, which felt silly until week three when I realized I’d stopped gasping. I did 400m continuous last Saturday. My coach never once made me feel stupid for asking a basic question, and I asked a lot of them
