OnTheDiamond: Baseball Stats

Version 3.0 lets you keep stats by just saying what happened. SAY THE PLAY • Open a live game and tell OnTheDiamond what you see — "singled to left, drove in a run," "stole second," "struck out the side" — and the stats update as you say them. Type it instead if you'd rather. • Innings, score, outs, catches, and pitching lines count too, not only at-bats. • A running timeline shows every play as it lands, and you can undo one with a tap. LOG A WHOLE GAME AFTERWARDS • Missed the game, or heard about it in the car? Describe it in a few sentences and the box score fills itself in. Review before saving — nothing is recorded without you confirming. • Every spoken update is kept with the game, so you can look back at how it unfolded. A SMOOTHER START • New players always begin with a season, so your first game is one tap away. • Faster responses when logging by voice. HELP THAT ANSWERS BACK • Replies to anything you send us now show up right in Help, in the app. Voice is on-device dictation; turning speech into stats uses a secure cloud service. The whole game grid is still there whenever you'd rather tap.
