Remote connections
Works great, especially when i am traveling and can still receive and make calls through my number from the app on my cell phone
App Crashes
Cannot make or receive calls with the app. Paying for the subscription to be able to. When I try to answer or make a call the app crashes and logs me out saying “Your password has changed” I log back in and it does the same thing over and over.
Premium Membership worthless?
I pay for the annual premium membership. All I really need is the app to work with phone calls & functional call waiting. But twice today, in two separate instances, when I answered the incoming call while on the phone — BOTH the original call and the incoming call were disconnected! Might be time to start investigating new services and port my number to a more reliable service 😳

30 December 2025 Tuesday 8:54 AM MST The Ooma Home Telephone basic service ~ $7.00 per month that functions with an internet connection, for the most part performs well with outgoing calls then correctly displaying logs of missed incoming calls on both the APP and handsets; about ~ 85% of the time recently. Would like the upgraded service ~ $12.00 per month that displays incoming calls that are answerable within APP, though unable to justify the cost as most (~ 90% +) of incoming callers are unfiltered SCAM/ solicitors/ hangups/ surveys. Ooma telephone service would be better if somehow the fake scam solicitation callers were automatically blocked and the full service was around ~ $8.00 or $9.00 total with taxes included each month. Wow! Quiet hours that cannot have OVERNIGHT?
What is the actual point of incorporating a feature that is SO limited that it is completely useless? I want to silence incoming calls from 9pm to 7am because I WFH and want calls to go straight to voicemail during those hours. But I cannot have that because 7am is earlier than 9pm 😳 After being with Ooma for a decade and a half, I apparently need to find a better VoIP provider.

Incoming calls disconnect
I’ve had an ongoing problem with incoming phone calls I take on my iPhone 8 running the Ooma App. The phone rings once or twice then drops if I try to answer the call. I always have to call the other person back, and then the call works OK.

Have had for more than eight years. It continually gets better and more robust. Love retaining my number when we moved and also could have a local number too, all ringing one phone. Having it ring simultaneously on your cell means you never have to give merchants your cell phone number. It would take a novel to write about all of Ooma advantages, just get it and discover how it will make communication better for you

I love this app. My hearing has become worse as I have grown older. With this app I can make calls and hear people better with my Apple earbuds plugged into my iPad. Thanks!
