Our waiter Chad was awesome! Very attentive, & kind! He even asked the bar tender for a port wine I was interested in & came back with a “free” glass from the bartender. Shout out to the sweetheart behind the bar! He met all my wants/needs & even brought me extra chocolate turtles to accompany my delicious port!

Used to be great
Now just a scam for extracting added fees for the “privilege” of making reservations at expensive restaurants. Any restaurant that uses OpenTable to make reservations is best avoided.

Be careful, OpenTable still has a bug when you put in the location.
I recently tried to book a restaurant in Mexico and it brings up reservation times at a restaurant with the same name in New Jersey. Come on fix this already. It’s been doing this for years. I love everything else about this app.
reservation time limit
I understand you do not want people to make multiple reservations and then cancel and part of that is your limit of two hours. But sometimes it doesn’t make sense if I’m going to a cocktail lounge at 5:30 I do want to have a 7 o’clock reservation for dinner.
Fees
Not too happy with all the fees all of a sudden. 2% here $25 there. No….
Serves its purpose
Been using open table for years to book many reservations. Never had any issues and it’s very seamless, I secretly get happy when I see a restaurant that uses OpenTable as their booking system 😆
This is a go to app
I travel a lot for work, and for fun! Open Table is one of the 2 apps I use to find a good place to enjoy one of my favorite activities, eating great food. I feel like if a restaurant has a good Yelp rating and a good Open Table rating with at least 80-100 ratings, you can pretty much count on a good meal. Add to that the ease of booking a table on here and you’ve got yourself a bonafide winner.
