App okay aber warum Standortdaten?
Ich nutze die App für den Lightmaster IV. Die App ist okay und der Lightmaster ist super. Zwei Dinge verstehe ich jedoch nicht. 1. warum funktioniert der Lightmaster nicht (mehr) mit der Lightmaster App? Die ist einfacher und übersichtlicher. 2. Wenn ich schon gezwungen werde meine Standortdaten preiszugeben, (Warum eigentlich?) wäre es ein tolles Feature, wenn die Standortdaten im Messprorokoll stehen würden.

Ignoring the issues with the LM4 giving inaccurate data, the app is a complete mess. Slow and gives off malware vibes.
Don’t bother using the QR code to do guest setup, it won’t work (probably on purpose).
Forcing an account creation via email is bad enough, but requiring full location access is unacceptable.

App stopped working
It used to work great. But not there seems to be login issues. So I tried to reset password and reregister. It’s stuck. I hope this is getting resolved!
Maybe next time
Every once in a blue moon an update to this app arrives. And every time I’m hopeful that maybe this time I’ll finally be able to actually use the opple hardware I paid for. But no. The hardware is still a brick. This has to be the worst manufacturer app in existence.
