App okay aber warum Standortdaten?
Ich nutze die App für den Lightmaster IV. Die App ist okay und der Lightmaster ist super. Zwei Dinge verstehe ich jedoch nicht. 1. warum funktioniert der Lightmaster nicht (mehr) mit der Lightmaster App? Die ist einfacher und übersichtlicher. 2. Wenn ich schon gezwungen werde meine Standortdaten preiszugeben, (Warum eigentlich?) wäre es ein tolles Feature, wenn die Standortdaten im Messprorokoll stehen würden.

Disappointed
Ignoring the issues with the LM4 giving inaccurate data, the app is a complete mess. Slow and gives off malware vibes.
Don’t bother using the QR code to do guest setup, it won’t work (probably on purpose).
Forcing an account creation via email is bad enough, but requiring full location access is unacceptable.

App stopped working
It used to work great. But not there seems to be login issues. So I tried to reset password and reregister. It’s stuck. I hope this is getting resolved!
Maybe next time
Every once in a blue moon an update to this app arrives. And every time I’m hopeful that maybe this time I’ll finally be able to actually use the opple hardware I paid for. But no. The hardware is still a brick. This has to be the worst manufacturer app in existence.
Not iPhone Ready
This app is stuck on the registration page as it does not display the countries and requires you to select one. It is built for Android so if you have an iPhone it may not work for you
Works Good!
The Registration page and login are a little confusing. Currently, there is an email verification button on the signup page. But it isn’t immediately obvious that you need to create a password first. The page layout is slightly confusing. Then login doesn’t seem to work using a password. I needed to use the “email login” link instead. But once that was finished, the rest of setup was good. As for quality, this is pretty decent. It’s not comparable to a $2,000 spectrometer, but this is an excellent quality device and app for the price!

Приложение мешает работе устройства!
Приложение не работает без интернета!!! А устройство Opple 4 не работает без приложения.
В результате устройство невозможно использовать в тех местах где нет интернета. Это очень плохо!!!
Кроме того приложение просит слишком много разрешений. Полагаю авторы хотят собирать данные и продавать их, не вижу других причин зачем владельцам приложения нужно знать точную геопозицию где я провожу измерение качества освещения. А без доступа к геопозиции измерение провести нельзя.
В результате устройство невозможно использовать в тех местах где нет интернета. Это очень плохо!!!

Confusing app for the Light Meter IV
Very confusing to get the device set up. It seems that you need to create an account, then click the remote button, then give it access. The QR code to scan just leads you into a loop of downloading the app or crashing if you scan it in the app as it instructs. The guest button doesn't allow you to use the Light Meter and might be for some other product completely.

Badly designed app
First of all, the Light Master IV wouldn’t show up as a Bluetooth on any iOS phone. It only shows up on Android. So I was never able to fully test the function of this app.
However, it was clear even from the initial setup and login screens on that app that this app is poorly thought out, clunky, and generally not a good UX.
Terrible translation of menus and phrases into English, to the point that it’s unintelligible at times. Typos and grammatical errors.
The app initially asks you to open your camera to scan the QR code on the device. But that just opens the App Store to download the app. But I had ALREADY downloaded the app, so it’s just a weird circular logic.
The text colors aren’t even well chosen—it looks like text is greyed out because that function is disabled, but in fact, you can still click it.
Overall a confusing, poorly thought out app. Not that it matters, because the iPhone doesn’t recognize the device anyway, so I’m returning the device for a refund and writing this poor review.

Please fix the bug
for "Opple Light master pro" does not display the point "duv" on a color picture (where the color palette, just a frozen picture, does not respond to the value "duv"). I use iphone 11 pro, ios 16.4.1 (a). Please fix the bug!

Prima app
De Opple app is erg gebruiksvriendelijk. Geen overbodige toeters en bellen. Alle functionaliteiten zijn aanwezig. Eenvoudig scenes creëren, multproject en zelfs daglichtsturing zijn operationeel met enkele instellingen. Veel beter dan alle vergelijkbare systemen.
