It’s just okay…
Original: I’ve been with OTF for 3 years and I can definitely say they are sloooow to roll out features. I like that you can reserve a class from the app instead of calling, scheduling in-person, or waking in. I also like that you can see your workout summary and that it exports to Apple Health/Fitness (sort of… no treadmill or towing distances. Just time, calories, and heart rate). Two main things I dislike include the inability to add a profile picture and no iOS widget.
Good experience, visual design could be better
A lot of issues

Heart rate measure so wrong.
Not worth the money
For example, I can go on a 3-mile run and the app may only record about 1 mile. Even more frustrating, I have to keep the app open on my phone the entire time. If I switch over to check email, use another app, or even try to listen to music, the tracking often stops instead of continuing properly in the background.
For a product at this price point, I expected much better reliability from the armband and app combination. It may be fine for basic at-home workouts, but for outdoor workouts and running, the tracking has been extremely unreliable and disappointing.

All good but One
Great app!
It does a great job tracking my workouts and seamlessly connects with every Orangetheory studio worldwide. I visited a studio in another country and all the stats from that class showed up in the app without any issues.
I also really like how it integrates my body scans and gives me a ton of detailed personal data in one place. The developers are constantly rolling out new features, and they’re always useful and well thought out.
Overall, it’s a solid, reliable app that makes the whole Orangetheory experience even better.
