Finally!

We came to Oshi Health after feeling completely exhausted and discouraged trying to find a GI provider who would truly listen and be invested in our son’s health. From our very first visit, we knew this experience was different.

Our nurse practitioner made us feel comfortable right away. She was not only incredibly knowledgeable, but she listened deeply, with patience, compassion, and genuine care. For the first time, we felt fully seen and heard.

What sets Oshi apart is the comprehensive, team-based approach. Instead of a one-size-fits-all plan, we were given a thoughtful, personalized path forward that included GI treatment, access to a behavioral health provider to address the brain-gut connection, and a dietitian to help create a nutrition plan that supports real healing.
We are already feeling such a sense of relief and hope, knowing we have a dedicated team walking alongside us every step of the way. If you’re searching for care that is truly holistic, attentive, and effective, I cannot recommend Oshi Health highly enough.

Stay away

I did 3 appointments - one with the nurse practitioner, one with the therapist and one with the nutritionist. No follow up in over 6 weeks despite asking multiple times over chat. When I complain, the nutritionist calls me and said that the nurse practitioner “forgot” to contact me. The nutritionist recommended Sucraid which has a free trial, but they didn’t bother to either look or even follow back. Instead very prompt in asking for the copays. They seem not focused on the patient at all.

Service is good, app is not

I have been able to get a diagnosis quickly that would not have been possible with my local options. However the app leaves much to be improved. I can’t reliably get my lab order, the most recent visit summaries are always at the bottom of what is now a long list, the chat window to type text does not expand to be able to see what I’m typing. My provider says to meet in 3 months but the app only goes out 6 to maybe 8 weeks.

Scammers

I was persuaded to try this by my insurance company. They covered it so sure, ok. I had two tele health calls with a doctor and one with a dietitian. I was prescribed a PPI. Great, I felt better. A couple of months later (following year) I scheduled a follow up to get a prescription refill. Shortly after I get billed $700. Ouch, but still trying to meet my deductible. A month later I get another bill for $700. Surely some kind of billing error, right? Nope. They don’t charge per appointment. It’s a “package” you have to pay for billed in 4 segments. This was never disclosed. I couldn’t cancel fast enough.

App issues still unresolved

Well I like the doctors, no issue there. Trying to sign in on app some token doesn’t let me, have changed password, still not working. Emailed and been a week issue not fixed.

Help much needed

I have struggled with my gut for many years and what happy to see Cigna offered this service. I am able to reach out and have my questions answered anytime, make appointments as needed, and am working on my actual triggers & solutions. I have also had labs done to ensure something else isn’t the issue. If you’ve wanted help for a long time with gut issues, I highly suggest using Oshi’s services.

HORRIBLE SCAM

I rarely write reviews, but this app is the worst. The doctors just prescribe things that you already try, lie about your own health, and charge you hundreds for it. I had three virtual appointments, all under an hour and they’re trying to charge me $900, even after insurance. Do not use this. I wish I knew and read the reviews before I got scammed. I want my $200 money back and the $700 charge GONE.

Crazy expensive billing model

Access to dietitians and GI experts is nice but be VERY CAREFUL about your insurance and billing *before* you start with Oshi. Once you start, it locks you into $2,300 (!!!) of payments for a year of coverage regardless of use. I had no idea about the billing structure ahead of time. I emailed the team about my concerns once they explained it to me and they never responded. So if you’ve hit your deductible, could be great, but was way too expensive for me.

STAY AWAY

What a gimmick this is. First off the Dr just gave me stupid medicine that I already tried years ago. Nothing to help my burning pain. The one just gave me constant diarrhea which flared my inverse psoriasis up and I warned her I had. So i had to then pay more money to see my dermatologist again. Oh on top of it ordered a stool sample that ended up costing me hundreds of dollars for what? Nothing. So disappointed and i will make sure I share this experience with EVERYONE. Such a waste of money and time. Oh and then want to get me with a gut brain specialist and dietitian no thank you. I eat just fine. I needed real medicine to treat my condition, not fake medicine I tried 10 years ago. Waste of a company.

Broken

This app used to work well. Now it’s broken.

Misleading advertising and manipulative billing practices

I signed up for Oshi Health after seeing repeated ads implying their services were fully covered by my Aetna insurance. The messaging made it sound like Oshi was partnered with Aetna and that I’d pay nothing out of pocket. Once I joined, I was immediately scheduled for an appointment, only to be billed hundreds of dollars afterward because of “deductible” charges that were never disclosed in advance.

During the call, I didn’t feel I could stop without being charged. The entire setup felt designed to trap patients into billable encounters under the guise of “included benefits.”

I’ve since learned other users have had the same experience. I’ve filed complaints with the California Attorney General, the FTC, and Aetna for deceptive advertising. If you’re considering Oshi, verify directly with your insurer before engaging. Transparency matters, especially in healthcare.

Zero stars

One star is way too many! Why? I came with acute pain, the provider suggested I’ll see the nutritionist(and I told her I have a nutritionist) and follow up with her in six weeks. I asked to close my account. Somebody acknowledged my request, but did not follow through, because I received a message recently from my provider that is clearly not addressed to me and describes a substitute medication for some guy🤦‍♀️

Predatory

Predatory billing practices. Beware before you schedule. Even though they are ‘in network’ and I get free nutrition counseling under my insurance program, I had to pay largely out of pocket due to fine print that I did not agree to prior to scheduling and attending the appointments. Medical providers did a nice job but the billing and customer service was a nightmare. Would not recommend to any friends or family.

Charged $700 for a yearly subscription without notice

I paid my deductible for a GI specialist to see this doctor ($200) and had 1 virtual visit and 1 visit with a dietitian. Then I got a bill for $700, without being notified I had inadvertently signed up for a yearly subscription of services. Nowhere did I read thats what this app is. I called and they generously lowered it to $250 since I cancelled my yearly membership. So buyers beware its a subscription scam.

Not as advertised

I have only had to a nurse practitioner who was mediocre at best. I asked for a Doctor and was not given a straight answer. To be fair, the nutrition and mental consultant have been helpful.

AVOID - If you have United healthcare

I do pretty good research and I’m knowledgeable when it comes to deductibles and how they work in the US.

I was targeted by misleading ads that Oshi was covered on the United portal. Had services in April. Received a bill this week(end of Sept). The whole time under the impression it was free.

Maybe I could have done more research. But the service I received was not worth the $200 and the misleading practice is unethical.

Worst app ever

Set up login credentials doesn’t work. Can’t navigate through to just cancel an appointment

Visit coordination is extremely poor

I had an appointment visit that booked 2 weeks prior. In the morning I saw that my appointment was canceled . I believe I had to fill out some paperwork, but I was about to do it in the morning prior to the call. Never ever faced such a cancellation without my consent!!!!! Never ever will use this service again

Very Simple Process

The whole thing was simple from scheduling my appointment till my appointment. My Clinton was very sweet and knowledgeable. Oshi’s clinicians will work hard till they find a solution that works for you and they listen to what you have to say. Thank you, Oshi!

No data collection is good

I LOVE that they don’t collect data, I have enough problems with floating info so A+ for that. I also like the app, overall easy to use; staff is great; wish my billing was here too but no problem.
