User reviews

Shows ADs for subscribers.

The application is quite strange. Even with a subscription, it still shows ads. The ads appear in the middle of the screen, making it difficult to read the text. Additionally, the main page only uses half of the available space, leaving the other half blank. The EPaper app itself is great, and the web portal is also excellent. I’m not sure what this app is supposed to be.

The worst app

Of all the apps I’ve had experience with this one is the worst

Just dreadful

Often days or weeks behind, slow to load, an embarrassment.

A huge fail!

This used to be my go to app every morning. The new version is nothing but a poorly disguised money grab. I guess they figure if social media is not allowed to publish Canadian news then this is the perfect opportunity to start charging. Nothing but greed and terrible app developers. Perhaps the OTrain architects were involved in this yet again Ottawa based fiasco.

It’s a ripoff

I subscribed to the ‘digital edition’ and they charged my Visa. But tapping on any article displays “This content is available to subscribers only”. Calling Postmedia customer service is a waste of time. They told me to delete the app and download it again, which made no difference.

Today I updated to the latest version of the app. Same thing. Don’t waste your money or your time.
