Indispensable
I have long Zoom and Teams sessions with clients every few days. OtteNotes does a much better job of transcribing and summarizing than if I relied on my scribbled notes. One caveat: a single transcription can fill 5+GB of space on your phone. You need to monitor that and delete regularly.
Stealing money
Not cancelling service as requested. Otter is stealing peoples money
Waste of money
Drops conversations if you leave the app. Does not record or hold onto them. Terrible app. Do not waste your money.
Disappointing
Appears to record the whole meeting but only transcribed a few minutes. Not what the is supposed to do but it doesn’t work,
Not the Real Otter App
Fake app trying to trick people into thinking it’s the real Otter notes add and paying high subscription fees. Fleeceware.
Many problems and unable to contact anyone about them.
The program promises to develop bullet points summaries of conversation conversations, but it is impossible to do that. it also is impossible to communicate in any fashion with anyone there. Everything takes you in circles after circles after circles.

50% of the time, the app fails to transcribe and I find out after the meeting.

Do not waste $60 on an annual subscription like I did for an app that is mediocre at best at completing its task

This app uses ALL my 120+ phone storage. I had to offload many of my apps and it still doesn’t work correctly. Couldn’t get notes transferred, printed nothing. I had to take screenshots of what did transcribe. Amazing that this was a recommended app

Three day trial is a lie, they charge you immediately. Scam

The ‘free’ trail doesn’t allow you to do anything- you HAVE TO PAY.
False Ads
It was falsely advertised for 3 day free trial, I was charged immediately after I downloaded it for $59.99 plus Tax. It asked a long list of questions but the app didn’t even work when you finally get to it. I requested a refund immediately but Apple refused. Don’t trust this app and don’t even think Apple would get the refund for you.

SCAM APP
I was looking for something to try for work meetings. I was like many people here lured in to use a free 3 day trial but was immediately charged the $59.99 subscription fee. I disputed it and Apple denied my request. ABSOLUTE SCAM AND MEDIOCRE APP, DONT DOWNLOAD!

After I hit record, phone on silent, incoming Text messages causes the APP TO CLOSE.
