Love Outlinx!
I recently started organizing our garage and basement into storage bins. I’m learning how to use a crickt machine to create “smart vinyl” removable text label stickers, but I wanted to be able to find out what’s in each bin in greater detail without having to open each bin. Enter Outlinx! The Outlinx QR stickers (I liked the large Nebula Rising stickers) and the Outlinx app are both really pretty and modern, particularly by comparison to their competitors (which I tried a few of). Lots of white space, pretty modern font and colors, swipe interface that is very intuitive. Easy to link a sticker to a bin “note” (where you can describe a bin’s contents and even snap a photo), easy to organize bin notes into room folders in the app. A neat trick is that, if I type a word in the app’s search bar, it knows which bin has that word in its note/description — and then I can hold my phone’s camera up to each bin’s QR code, one at a time, and it will tell me when I’ve reached the QR code that has that particular word in its linked note/description. This way, you can find a specific item in the app, and then the app can help you figure out which bin in the room has that particular QR code sticker and item. Brilliant!
I do have 2 suggestions for app improvements:
- When I copy text in the app on my iPhone, if I try to paste the text inside a note in the Outlinx app, it immediately crashes the app every time. Not a huge deal — just meant I had to retype something if I wanted to use similar text in different notes — but seems like a bug in the app code.
- Make it possible to tap, hold, and then drag a note into an existing folder (rather than having to always swipe left on a note, click the move icon, and select the folder you want to move the note to — which takes three clicks rather than one, and feels less intuitive than clicking and dragging).

Pretty cool!!
I am always pulling bins down to see what’s in them. This is really pretty brilliant, easy to organize and a load off of my back. Great idea and app. 5 stars.
Could Be Better
Should get the job done.
Very Limited Software
I’m not really sure why this app/product had so many positive reviews. Yes, the app looks nice but it’s extremely limited. You can only create notes with text, images, and links. You can not scan an Outlinx to connect to WiFi. I also wish that there was a way to export all the folders that you scan. That way you could create dozens of labels for storage boxes and then have a master list of every thing you have in storage.

easy + efficient
been using my stickers for grocery lists, storage bins, + various reminders for frequent kitchen tasks. the UI is clean, making it pleasing + very user-friendly for first time users. 12/10 would buy more in different colors.
