I’m paying a premium to watch ads, C’mon
I was excited to die into some outside films so I bought the subscription only to find I’m forced to watch ads. This is incredibly dumb.

I guess it just keeps getting more dumpster fire.. magazines go to quarterly. App is lame doesn’t sync between devices, requires constantly re login.

I can’t locate the downhill replay. I’m a paying subscriber. Your app is frustrating
Glitchy, terrible trying to cast to chromebox
I’ve been trying to watch the Copper Cup replays by casting from my iPhone to my chromebox and there is no way to control the replay playing options (pause, fast forward, rewind). It also is constantly kicking me off the cast and I have to restart the video from the beginning, again with no options for fast forwarding back to where I was at. Watching on my phone is fine, but I want to watch on a bigger screen! If you offer the option to watch on a bigger screen, make it at least functional!

Worst App I’ve ever downloaded
App does not load. I have the fastest internet connection available and I just get the spinning wheel while the app is trying to load. Do not waste your time with this app and definitely do NOT pay the $89 for Outside +! Extremely disappointing. I would give it a zero star rating if that was an option.

FIS please use a different streaming platform!
I keep hoping Outside will get better, but am continuously disappointed. They have no right to be the US streaming partner for FIS World Cup ski races. Coverage is sub par at best, commercials cut out multiple racers, announcers can’t even say most of the skiers names. Not to mention ton how awful the app is to navigate. Absolutely awful design and no improvement from year to year. They have some of the best content, but good luck finding it.

Terrible
App is trash, crashes every 5 seconds, throws bugs and error messages when you try and create an account. This app didn’t need to exist and shouldn’t
This app needs to do better
This has to be one of the worst apps for streaming that I’ve used. You can’t rewind anything that is being stream live, which is such a common thing now it’s ridiculous It’s not here. And every time I try to watch the Ironman world championships the app just crashes. I expect more from the app and from Ironman.

Poor Service for the Subscription Price
Like the title says, this app is horrible for both functionality and performance. The app crashes often running on appleTV and the navigation is horrible. Why can’t i rewind during a live broadcast for example. Not worth the price, and I hope Ironman and T100 choose a different platform going forward for US and Canadian viewers.

This app has a terrible interface. Playback doesn’t sync between devices, the player doesn’t work half the time. Lots pf issues
Horrible App
No in app purchases available. I don’t want buy the service on the website. There is no costumer service at all and who knows what’s going on when I will cancel my subscription. Lot of crashes. I love the content of this app.

The app sign-in is dreadful. Keeps saying wrong format on my user and password entries. The same ones I use on all my streaming sports apps. What’s up Outdside? Did you go with cheap app developer? Never have this problem with technology these days.

Better coverage!
Why do you insert ad spaces in the REPLAY and force us to miss athletes? It’s bad enough the live races skip athletes all the time for ads - on a service I pay for. On the replay, please could you show all the athletes and insert the ads between runs? The coverage of US ski racing by both Outside + and Peacock is abysmal. Please take a page from Ski and Snowboard live - they do a great job.

Just plain awful
I tuned into Peacock to watch the FIS World Cup downhill at Beaver Creek on Dec 6, 2024 to find out that this race was being streamed on OutsideTV which I had never heard about. So I downloaded the app and the race was already in progress. Most apps allow you to restart or scroll back. Not this one. As a sports junky I watch many streaming apps, some great, others good. But OutlookTV has to be the worst. The commentators are 3rd grade at best, every 2nd word of the female commentator was “Pizzerina”, the name of a section of the race, their sound was way too loud, and one of them sounded like he called in from under water. The sound of the skiers racing down could not be heard, nor the one from the spectators at the bottom of the race. All the interruptions with the OutlookTV logo are annoying for no reason while skipping one or 2 racers. I have no idea why FIS would let OutsideTV stream the Beaver Creek World Cup races. It is a huge disservice to the real ski racing fans. Peacock & NBC Sports are so much superior and that is where the races should be streamed. I looked at a few other OutsideTV streams and none of them impressed. One star for this App is one star too many. I stopped watching the downhill race after 15 racers; it was that painful and totally awful !!!

Truly abysmal
They have some good content but this app is awful — often promised content like the FIS World Cup events just don’t work, doesn’t keep track of what you’ve watched, bugs and usability problems abound. Truly the worst streaming app I have used.

Wanted to watch Mikaela Shiffrin score #100 at Killington, but broadcast TV wouldn't have run number one, only run number two in the afternoon. So did something unusual for me, tried a streaming service: Outside TV. What a pleasant surprise. It wasn't hiding behind a paywall and it worked very well.
Time to poke around it and enjoy other sports.
