About

Overeasy turns a link to a cooking video into a recipe you can cook from. Share a TikTok, Instagram or YouTube video and get the ingredients and steps as a clear list you can edit. Then cook one step at a time, with timers. How it works 1. In TikTok, Instagram or YouTube, tap Share and choose Overeasy. You can also paste the link in the app. 2. An AI model reads the video's caption, description and audio and writes the recipe. 3. Review it. Anything the AI was not sure about is marked, and you can edit every ingredient and step. 4. Cook it. Cooking - Cooking mode puts one instruction on screen at a time, in large type, and can keep the screen awake. - Overeasy finds the times in your steps and offers a timer for each; tap to start it. Run several at once. A running timer shows on the Lock Screen and, on iPhones with a Dynamic Island, in the Dynamic Island. It alerts you when it ends. - Each step lists the ingredients it uses, with amounts for the number of servings you chose. - Change the servings with plus and minus and every amount is recalculated. - Check off ingredients and steps as you go. Nutrition - Calories, protein, carbohydrates and fat per serving, shown as estimates, with a note on any ingredient that had to be assumed. - Optional: add one serving's nutrition to Apple Health. Overeasy writes to Health only after you confirm, and it cannot read anything from Health. Your recipes - Search, sort and filter. Switch between grid and list. Mark favorites. Collections are built for you. - Set a diet once (vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, gluten-free or dairy-free) and your recipes and Discover can filter to it. - Re-import a recipe from its source. - Choose an accent color and an app icon. Discover and Watch - Discover shows original recipes from Overeasy Kitchen and recipes other cooks have imported, with shelves such as Quick dinners. Save one in a tap. - Rate a recipe you have saved from 1 to 5 stars. The average appears once three cooks have rated it. - Watch is a full-screen feed of imported recipes' original videos, played in each platform's own player, with the recipe one tap away. - Discover never shows who saved or rated a recipe. - Report a recipe that should not be there and it leaves your Discover and Watch at once. Free, and yours - Free. No purchases, no tracking, and no ads from Overeasy. Videos play in the platforms' own players, which may show their own ads. - Use Overeasy as a guest with no sign-in and keep up to 10 recipes. Sign in with Apple or Google, also free, to remove the limit and sync your recipes across your devices. - Delete your account and its data any time from the Profile screen. Good to know - Recipes are written by an AI model and can be wrong. Check amounts, temperatures and allergens before you cook, against the original video when there is one. - Overeasy Kitchen recipes and their photos are generated, then reviewed before they are published. - Nutrition is an estimate. It is not medical or dietary advice. - Overeasy keeps the recipe text and a small preview image. The video stays on the platform: Overeasy does not store it and has no way to save or export it. - Overeasy is not affiliated with or endorsed by TikTok, Instagram or YouTube. Those names belong to their owners. - Overeasy appears in the iPhone share sheet as a share extension. Questions, or a recipe that came out wrong: hello@chetangoel.me. A person reads it.
