almost perfect

This is one of my favourite apps I own - it’s been a life saver when trying to understand and plan my time better. However pls pls pls bring back being able to see the line that shows what time it currently is while editing the day and adding new activities. it’s so annoying having to keep clicking out of the editing mode just to check what exact time it is at the moment

Honestly my favourite app

This app has literally changed my life. It’s easy to use, makes it easier to plan day to day life, makes me feel productive and helps me commit to my goals! 💗

Why is everything paid-

So i've been using this for about a year as the layout is something that really works for me. But in recent updates it feels as though everything is starting to be put under paid subscription just to access. Even features that previously were free to use. It's super unfortunate and totally put me off
from the app. Going to look for alternatives. Truly disappointed as this is the only bad thing I have to say as well, other than the mention of AI in ur description.. so unnecessary not everything needs it. :/

Developers: “Got bills to pay! Sorry!” = weak & sorry excuse.

Loyalty means nothing in the name of capitalism & consumerism. I KNEW back then the “new subscription-based business model” would overtake EVERYTHING. These long-standing FREE app developers can pretend or make excuses all they want. They jumped on that bandwagon. Very, very rarely can anything make an app worthy of subscription anymore. Anything to nickel & dime users contributing to keeping the overall lower & middle class majority who continue forking out money for being alive while working themselves into the graves. Why are apps worth more than food? Outta your minds anymore.

Multiple glitches a day

I like using this app because it’s the only one I’ve found with a visual aid that actually keeps me on track. However it’s a headache to use the app glitches literally every time I want to edit the schedule. I have to close and reopen the editing page repeatedly just to get one daily schedule down because time blocks will often disappear after placing them or snap randomly into another spot on the wheel sometimes overlapping other time blocks. The widgets are also constantly glitching making you have to open the app for the schedule on the widgets to display the accurate time. I would love to keep using this app because like I stated it has been very helpful visually but it’s not much help if it won’t stay up date because the developers won’t fix the glitches that have been happening for over a year. I hope a fix will come soon or I might as well start looking for other apps with actual functionality.

Almost perfect except I wish there was an inner and an outer ring

So that I could have subtasks, like an entire block is work but then within that I have xyz meeting

Makes life easier

I use this for everyday tasks but this really helps me get on tack for studying and time management. I love this app so much and have been using it for about 2 years. I highly recommend it!

Mindful calendar

I love that Owaves helps me remember my appointments but it also reminds me to get up and move, spend time family and friends and relax.

Was a good app…

An app I used on the daily… it really helped me plan my crazy schedule. It was free for years then they locked it and want $12.99 a month… so tired of being nickled and dimed by app creators…

only took 3 years

vs my review from 3 years ago, which blasted this app for having no sync ability, the most recent update of 2025 finally added iPad and iOS sync, which means i can finally use owaves on my mac and sync with my phone. finally, it has become useful

Ai…

Extremely disappointed that an app I used to love and have been active on for years is going full ai. I personally enjoy the winters and like polar bears alive but the app developers clearly have different ideas.

AI Garbage

This was a great app that I loved a few years ago. I decided to look into it again to help me focus my life. Only to discover they've jumped on the bandwagon of unnecessary and useless AI that churns through more water and power than we can afford to lose. Not worth supporting

They ruined my favorite app

I’ve used this app for YEARS. I used to recommend it to everyone, especially my neurodivergent friends. They have now taken what was an incredible app with basic free functionality and ruined it. It crashes, the widgets don’t work, and it’s basically unusable now unless you want to fork out a bunch of money and support AI. I’m getting rid of it and no longer recommending it… quite the opposite, I’m suggesting people not get it.

Used to be good

say no to ai

Not useable now

I’ve used this app on and off for many years. It had been great!
Not any more. I had multiple day plans saved, but now I cannot save anything! There’s a paywall to save plans. I deleted a few old plans but STILL cannot save anything! I’ve wasted too much time trying to figure out how many plans I can save without a subscription—can’t find that information anywhere! It is useless if I cannot save plans. If you want to ADD features, charge for the new features! But don’t rip the rug right out from under your long-time users by locking features that we have been using all along!

Everything is a subscription these days.

Coming back to figure this out. Just hate that everything is a party forever deal.

Too many bugs lately

I used to really like this app.
I keep seeing updates with new paid features. Meanwhile the core functionality has become almost unusable. Every time I try to adjust a segment, the segment will start behaving oddly or become unresponsive, then disappear instead of saving, and potentially crash the whole app. I’ve pretty much given up.
Please spend some time fixing these issues before adding any more unnecessary AI.

Been a great addition to my life

Perfect

Fun and visual but buggy

I love to use this to either plan or track my day (my main use is to track my work hours because I have a flexible schedule). It’s very visual and I don’t have to type in numbers, which I really like. Plus I can get a better sense of how I’m breaking up my day. I like that I can customize the icons for the category. The reminders for each block are also nice to pull me out of whatever I’m doing (with ADHD it can be hard to switch tasks). However this app can be very buggy for me. It’s often slow and laggy, freezes up on me quite a bit. It could be that my phone is getting old, but I don’t have issues like this with other apps I use. Will update my review when I have a new phone. Also, I love that it’s ad-free but still free. I would pay a one time fee for pro features but I’m not getting enough out of this to pay for a subscription.

subscription model ruined it

i used to love this app. i relied on it religiously. now it’s riddled with bugs and advertises in-app purchases around every corner. it used to be completely free, and the core features are still great. but i’ve been forced to delete it now that the newer features are locked behind a $70 subscription.
