Great App! Maybe a couple improvements🤞

Great app! Nice to find one that’s free. Would it be possible to have the “total” that’s displayed on home page inside the “person” view please. And I didn’t know if it was possible to have a date & time field on the “person view” that you can set for each debt ( for example say the next morning you remember that x person owes you 20 from last night but)

I know it’s a big ask but thought it was worth a try.

Thanks - Jake

Awesome Debt Traker

Awesome debt tracker been using this app probably for 45 years have not had one problem with it and it’s really easy to use and I’m really happy. I found it. Thank you.

My only complaint

I only complaint is that the debit credit history isn’t in any kind of order, it would be nice if it was in date order

So good!

Simple but well executed. As a busy freelance musician, I use this app multiple times per week to keep track of who owes me what for each gig, session, etc….
Makes my life so much simpler. I would absolutely pay for this app

Multiple Currencies support

The app looks great. It’s very minimalistic, offers just what i was looking for, with the exception of 2 things.
1. i live in 2 countries and travel between the 2 often enough. It would be nice to be able to add entries in different currencies, and see the total converted to the main currency for example
2. I would like to see a summary of the money i owe/am owed in the home page, which would be the calculation of the money i owe to/am owed by all people.

Otherwise, looks great and i’ll probably continue using it

Extremely limited

The only thing for me that I like about this app is that it is non-subscription.. I’m giving it a neutral 3 rather than a 1 because it might fulfill some needs out there, but it is really basic, it doesn’t do anything more for me than my calculator app and notepad. I expected it to be a great way to enter an amount I loaned a friend and then offer an easy way to decline his balance, for example if the loan was $5000 and he paid me at his convenience on his payday (not structured to a specific recurring date) I would just enter that amount, say $259.30 and the app would show the date he paid me, the amount, and what’s left that he still owes me … $4740.70. Ideally I could text or email him a receipt showing his remaining balance. That would be a great app, this isn’t it.

Decent

Decent app, does as it should. I wish there was accounts to save backups of data in case a phone breaks, and ability to share list with my girlfriend for example so we can both see it as it’s updated. Thanks!

Nice!

I would give this nice app 5 stars if it had a couple more features.

1. The ability to change a note in history.
2. The ability to delete entries in history.

Other than that, great and it’s free!

Too Easy!!

Great app! Simple to use. Only wish would be for it to enable me to share each debt/ loan with someone.

Free but insufficient

I’m sure people use this in different ways so maybe works for some. What is a major déficiency for me is that RANKS owes / owed only by amount; history is essential and should be easily codable because of you go into individual transactions the date is there …

slick little app

needed an app to track who-owes-who lunch at work. it's simple and elegant and best of all: no ads! no in-app purchases!
amazing.

Simple and easy to use!

I have been looking for an app just like this and it’s perfect! I don’t need some fancy bill splitting app, I just need something to keep a running balance of what was paid and for what.

One of the most useful apps!

This app is so perfect. The UI is super clean and easy to use and it’s quick and to the point. I love that I can see the running total on the main tabs and that what I owe and what is owed to me are color differentiated for quick reference.

Would love to a see a running total at the bottom of the page containing all the individual transactions as well... so, for example I can see everything my brother owes me minus what I owe him. Makes it easy to say “hey dude, you owe me this much after deducting what I owe you.”

Keep up the great work!!

Great lil app that’s not perfect

This is very close to a perfect IOU app, but it has sa couple minor bugs and missing features. Bugs: 1) I can’t edit notes, when I edit my note and save I get a message saying nothing was changed and I can’t save. 2) when editing a list of debits I click on debit 1 and it brings up debit 2… these IMO are minor bugs for a free app. The missing feature I wish it had was the ability to click and drag to reorder payments and an option for reoccurring payments, like phone or rent. With that being said. I really like the UI and simplicity of use, it’s a very well thought out - user friendly app that does what it says it will and does it fairly well. 4 of 5

Need some updates

Wish it had a way to mark the debt paid. When you swipe right you can delete it but I think it should have a way where you can mark as paid. That way if the owes you for different things than it would be easier to know you don’t owe them for that. I tried to add a note and change the amount to 0 and it just give me nothing.

Helpful, easy to use.
Would benefit if other parties could see as well.

Poor Edit/Delete Options

I love the whole idea however, I found two problems. (1) There is no deleting option for the created loans. You can delete the contact but you would lose all the data within it. It would be easier to just be able to delete specific loans within a contact. (2) Editing the loan amount after created is too complicated. You should have the option to directly edit it but instead you have to set an amount to subtract or add to the main loan first created. This is okay if you only use whole numbers but it gets completed when you have decimals. If these things are fixed, this would be a 5-star app. Hopefully you’ll consider fixing those important details.

Good concept, needs more work!

I really love the concept for this app. The design is appealing, intuitive, and easy to use.

However, there seems to be some glitches. Mine won’t let me save an entry after editing it.

Also, in the settings some of the descriptions trail off the screen and there doesn’t seem to be a way to expand it to read the whole thing.

It would also be nice if you were able to back up your entries somehow.

Response from developer

HI Becca, Thank you so much for trying the Owed app and the review! I would like to try and address some of your issues. 1. What are you editing when you save? What is not showing up? I know there is a known bug that when you made and edit you don't see those edits until you back out of that loan. When you access that loan again you should see your changes. Again this is a bug that is on the list of fixes. 2.Can I ask what type of iPhone you are using? I have an idea as to what might be causing this and will add this to the list of bugs to fix. 3. This has been the most requested feature for the app, and something that I am in the process of building out. If you have any more questions, please feel free to email from the Owed website.

Perfect

Just needs iCloud sync to keep the totals and balances owed between devices. I love the UI and simplicity.

Fantastic 5 star app!

I was constantly forgetting how much I was owed and was looking for a simple to use, yet thorough app to keep me on track. This app does it all. It's easy to use, and you can see how much each person owes you and for what. The app will send you friendly reminders about the loans if you allow the notifications. Made my life so much easier! Well done to the developers for this little gem! Definitely 5 stars for this!
