Pace is what Apple Health should be!

My title says it all.

I really appreciate an app that’s not solely focused on strain & recovery.

Proactively notifying me of metric trends is wonderful.

I love the app and can’t wait to see how it improves over time.

Amazing app and devs

I’ll admit I had some reservations at launch but the devs were incredibly responsive and fixed every minor gripe that I had. The app is quite good for seeing your health data quickly and easily.

Hi, thanks for your review and I actually love your suggestion. Look for it in the next update! ;) Gary

Another Athlytic Hit!

I have been a longtime Athlytic user in combination with HealthFit. I stumbled across this new Athlytic app in the App Store. Pace is just right, your health monitor, I am really looking forward to getting to know this application.

AI is Wrong and no way to correct

So there is no way to contact the engine other than this, to correct wrong assessments. Or correct the course of recommendations. Seems short sighted or lack of support. I’ll keep people posted how it works out. The AI will refuse to correct actions and recommendations which seems really lame.

Response from developer

Hi, why do you think there's lack of support? if you tap on Help and Feedback in Settings there's a long list of FAQ and way to message me any questions you have. Please do and I'll be happy to help with any issues you are having. Once fixed, please consider revising your review. We're a small team of 2 :) Thank you! Gary

Getting there!

Each update gets it a little bit closer to perfect. The last feature I need before I can rate 5 stars is to hide certain metrics on the “see all your metrics”. I don’t want to ever see my weight as I only look at that number once a week. I have body comp down at the bottom which helps, but please let us expand those and hide individual numbers. I can’t ever look at anything else in body comp because of that.

PACE, smart app with lot’s of potential!

PACE UI is great! Easy to use, easy to understand and it points you to critical information quickly. It comes with AI interactive capabilities built on Apple Intelligence. And, it is well positioned to leverage the new Apple Intelligence capabilities that are expected later this year.

Needs work - don’t purchase yet

Keeps sending notifications that a weekly report is ready to view but there’s no actual place to view the report. App needed a lot more work before taking people’s money.

Response from developer

Hi thanks for your review but the weekly report is a notification only at this point, however I am working on a much more robust report inside the app. It is a very small part of Pace though so I'm not sure it's fair to completely base your review on. After you've used Pace a little more, please consider revising your review. Also please feel free to share and of your thoughts with me personally at pacebyathlytic@gmail.com. Thank you! Not enough for a stand alone app

This would be much better if added to Athlytic . There are quite a few free apps that provide as much and some even more information than this does. Great idea but just not sure if it's worth it for a membership.

Response from developer

Thanks for your review, but the whole point of Pace is that it doesn't overwhelm you with data if it doesn't need to. So I think it's unfair to rate it after only a few days of use. If everything checks out, Pace isn't going to make up data just to keep you engaged and keep coming back to it like other apps do. It's only going to have content on the Home Screen if you need to hear it. Please consider revising your review or at least give it more time to understand how it works. Gary

General Health Oversight Made Simple

I am a very well diversed tech guy. Whether it being home networking, smart home and now health & fitness technology including wearables; I see Pace Health as a very easy to understand health metrics app.

Afterall; it utilizes your own personal tech you already have in both your Apple Watch and its associated Apple iPhone, to record top level health metrics.

Pace takes the technology that is already available with your Apple Watch and breaks down further information for which Apple Health does not do, at least at present.

With the undesired acts of our illicit government controlled health care system, it is up to each of us to be solely accountable and proactive in our own health and not reliant on health insurance companies and drug cartels like big pharma to tell us their scare tactics in order for their poisons to get into us.

Pace by Athlytic is the second step in gaining control of your health. The first; buying a Apple Watch and connecting it to Apple Health. If you want a deeper dive into your health, try the Athlytic app itself.

Not Funtional

I wanted to use this app but it’s impossible to upgrade and if you can’t upgrade you can’t see any of the meaningful data. I’m sure this is a glitch, but it’s been three days now and other reviewers have reported the same.

Response from developer

Hi! Apple prematurely released Pace before the subscriptions were approved. Pace has been in the ‘waiting for review’ queue in Apple’s App Review for days now. We can’t release the correct version of Pace (where you are not stuck behind the paywall) until Apple approves it. I’ll update this response once it’s available and please consider revising your review once you can actually use the correct version of the app. We are as frustrated as you are :(. Thank you! - Jaclyn Edit to add: The correct version of Pace with the ability to subscribe with a 7-day free trial is available now. We would love for you to redownload it and give it a try and please consider updating your review after giving it a try. Thanks! - Jaclyn
