Loving This App

I have been using this for 4 days to track my lupus n fibromyalgia pain and absolutely love the soo so far. Though it reminded me to record, I was soo busy and sleep was settling in so I chose sleep. But today, it seems to does not allow me to go back date to record yesterday’s experience. That would be awesome, so as to have more info for a trend as my appt is fast approaching. Other than that, I love how easy it is to record pain levels and to select the areas most affected. I probably would love to be able to score each area independently, not sure if anyone else might benefit from that; for instance my fingers are a 9 but my knees are a 7 today. I love how easy it is to enter meds and triggers and it suggested activities that I didn’t realize might be triggers, like my exercise. This is great for forgetful me who is always forgetting when the doctor asks those important questions. I love the area where you can add notes to give moe useful info like things I can’t do or what improvements I have seen. Thank you so much 🙏

Thank you so much, and we're glad it's helping with your lupus and fibromyalgia tracking. Good news on your first point: you can log yesterday. On the log screen, under "When did it start?", tap "Earlier…" and pick the day and time from the calendar. It goes back a full year, so you can fill in any day you missed before your appointment. Scoring each area separately isn't possible yet, because one entry holds one level for all the areas you select. For now, you can save one entry for your fingers at 9 and another for your knees at 7. Your doctor report will then show each area at its own level. Thank you for the kind words, and good luck at your appointment.

So far good (premium membership)

I like it so far a month in . But how come on a family member’s phone they get a lifetime membership option but I only get monthly or yearly ? And it’s a price that’s cheap too . I’d definitely pay the lifetime
If it was an option (just saying ). Very worth it . And Theres more options that have been added into the area where you can mark where it hurts. So that’s a plus !

Thank you again for this review. You were right, and it’s fixed: subscribers simply had no way to buy Lifetime, only new users ever saw it. As of version 1.4.0, which is live now, you’ll find “Upgrade to Lifetime” in the app’s Settings. One honest note: Apple does not cancel your existing subscription automatically when you buy Lifetime, so right after the purchase the app takes you straight to the cancel screen so you never pay twice. This option exists because you asked for it. Thank you. Mateusz, developer of Pain Journal

So far good (premium membership)

I like it so far (6 days in) but I wish that you could out whether meds are am or pm not just daily or as needed (I have to lump the total of each med even if i take some a couple times a day . But overall good, I’m glad I took the chance despite only one other review.

Response from developer

Thanks for taking the chance on us, it genuinely means a lot this early on. You spotted a real gap: tagging a med as just “daily” or “as needed” hides how often and when you actually take it, so a med you take a couple times a day gets lumped into one. Logging doses by time of day is exactly the kind of detail that makes your doctor report more accurate, and it’s now near the top of our list for an upcoming update. If you ever want to add to this, write us at contact@vizaxis.com - we read every message. Really glad it’s helping so far.
