Works great.
Fast easy neighborhood check of air quality and temperature.
Good functionality and speed
Really relevant for Southern Californians and athletes.
Doesn’t work
Thick awful smoke from a fire the smells horrible has covered my neighborhood yet this app still shows good air quality what a joke!
Needs more sources
While it’s great that they have a vast network in USA and parts of Europe their senses lack coverage in the Middle East, Africa and much of Asia. If they allowed for EPA and other reliable data sources, this app would be far more useful in those areas.
Great design
Clean, idiomatic iOS design. Performant, looks great, fair price. No complaints whatsoever.
Peku in the occupation
Just found out that Paku sensors are in the settlements and all over the occupied territories. It’s shame companies have no morals anymore. When most of the world has refused this Israels blatant land grab that support aggressive settlers Paku finds it acceptable to sell and register their units in the site. Shame on them. I’ve blocked Peku and will throw the Paku sensor.

Stop asking me for review
They keep asking for a review so here is 1 star.
What in the world has happened to Paku???
The menu bar icons frequently fail to load and there is NO way I can find to contact support.
Crashes
Used to work, but now it crashes upon opening (ipad). Tried the uninstall/reinstall - no luck.
Allergy Help
I have allergies and this site is invaluable got finding out when it is safe for me to go outside and exercise.
Crashes on iOS 26
After update to iOS 26 app crashes or shows wrong map location
Paku App
Really enjoying this App
Crashy on ipad ios 26
Can’t even open the app. Immediately crashes. I don’t see a way of reporting bugs anywhere either.
Great
Paku works well with PurpleAir sensors and expands their usefulness and is a much better UI vs using a browser. More data options including total number of measured particles >=0.3 would be appreciated.
Local
I like being able to tell not only the air quality but also the temperature. We live quite a distance from where other apps tell the weather and Paku twos need mine.
The best
Very Mac-native app with all the air quality data points I need. I appreciate the ability to include nearby sensor readings in the menu bar.
Great Resource
Paku is a great resource for me. I’m an aerial photographer and air quality is very important. Paku along with other resources are a big part of my decision process when scheduling a flight. I also use Paku to guide me in outdoor activities.
Saves my lungs
My asthma is super sensitive to fine particulate matter. I live in Canada. With wildfire smoke much of the summer there are many days I can only go out with a mask or not at all. I am often in rural areas and government sensors aren’t close enough to allow me to safely plan my days and hours to maximize my time outdoors whiie protecting my lungs. Paku does.

Best App for Purple Air Monitoring
I am really thankful for this app and the indie developer. It makes checking my Purple Air Zen readings easy to understand and gives me a quick, precise overview. I definitely will continue to subscribe to Paku!
This is all we’ve got since the Govt. can separate out Wildfire smoke.
Paku is doing the best that it can with very limited distribution of PurpleAir sensors… If the U.S. Govt./Weather Apps/Etc… are going to just use PurpleAir data, maybe they could chip in?? Plume is a joke. Think of what we could do if these sensors were everywhere? Paku is in place and has the best interface to take it to the next level.
