Terrible
Not sure how this software has this many great reviews but I’m going to be honest here and tell you it’s outdated and I have had nothing but issues. It crashes all the time. It doesn’t save templates properly it has just been issue after issue. If I could give it 0 stars I would.
Taking too much storage space
I used it for inspection since March. The program takes 80Mb, and documents and data take 17Gb. I moved all files to my desktop and deleted backup files. It still take that much. Call for tech support. Ask me uninstall and reinstall file. That's funny part, there is no reason that program takes that much space and dont clean cashe and temporary file after each time use. Need user manu reinstall program.

Not as good as HomeGauge.
I ended up switching to HomeGauge last year. I bought the template designer and tried to make my reports the way I wanted but the program is antiquated and isn’t capable. If you want a very simple report with no frills use palm tech. Program is slow and glitchy. Crashes were common.
Strongly recommend
In my 8th year as a home inspector…late 50’s, so technology is not my thing. Love this program and the support they provide. I’ve never called and not been helped immediately.
P9 vs others
I have been using P9 for over a year now. Despite having a huge learning curve from P7, it proves superior in fluency and speed. When I started years ago, I shopped several other softwares. While others have nice features and good online presentations, they could not be customized fully like Palm-Tech. That’s the difference. When I have had problems, Lisa was simply awesome to help me through. While I know most others brag on reports done on site, P9 can be as well, but no report should ever be done on site. P9’s cloud is easy to get back to ur PC and finish at home. I do wish P9 would have a repair addendum builder though.

My Experience with Palm-Tech
I have been working with Palm-Tech for almost five years now. Love the app and have nothing but good experiences with there staff & program. Especially with Lisa Baker! She is very knowledgeable with the program and has been wonderful to work with on any questions or issues I may have. She is a Big part of their team that I really enjoy working with. Awesome tech support
Palm Tech has made my job ALOT easier and less stressful! I can’t imagine using anything thing else. And I must say that when I did have an issue on something that was my own fault, Lisa Baker was awesome and helped me figure it out!! Would recommend the software to everyone! Thanks, Craig

I have been using Palm Tech 7 for five year and is great . And there CustomerService is so flipping great to work with and Lisa walk me through it and I just up graded to palm tech 9 and Lisa just walk me through it it was a peace of cake going out tomorrow to try it out and let you guys no later .but so far just putting in the clients info is so much faster can’t weight to try it out call palm tech and stop wasting time on your home inspection thank Lisa

Home inspector
Our company has recently moved from the version 7 to the version 9 and we are happy with the new changes. The easy of operation is like no other. The customer service is great. Anytime I have a question I can call palm tech they help me through any questions I have. This is great App I would recommend this to anyone.
