Photo transfer doesn’t work anymore

Used to be mid, now it hardly functions
While convoluted to setup, it used to at least mostly work. Now it freezes almost instantly and im lucky if I get ONE photo to transfer (iPhone 13 Pro Max). Sometimes it even transfers the wrong photo, and in every single instance it freezes forcing you to force quit and start the process over. A process that you know will likely end in failure anyway. How fun and what a great representation of your products.

I just bought the zs99, this app is awful. I’m better off purchasing a cable that transfers the images from my SD card to my phone rather than using this slow app. It’s crazy how Panasonic can’t even make it a priority to make it easier for users to transfer images. I have canon and sony cameras and those apps are way easier and faster. The app looks so outdated, the remote shooting doesn’t work, geotagging also doesn’t work, and I’ve been trying to get connected for the last hour and it still doesn’t work. Canon and sony took me less than 5 minutes.

What happened??
I don’t know what happened to this app. It used to be fine - not intuitive or smooth, but I could at least send photos from my Lumix camera to my phone. Now the app pops up this bizarre “share settings” screen that sends me to a screen with a four-sided beveled box and no clear instructions what to do with it. I’m totally unable to get photos off my phone using WiFi. Please fix these issues so us many loyal long-term Lumix fans can keep using your product!

Worse than ever
This has never been the best app to use. Its clunky interface was always inconsistent and not exactly user-friendly. The new update has broken the ability to transfer or view the images by most recent so it’s effectively useless now.

設定→一般→VPNとデバイス管理→VPNが未接続であるかを確認する
上記で改善しない場合は、下記内容についてもご確認ください。

1.カメラの電源をONにする

Stop “fixing” things
You know what I’m rewriting this. How completely unacceptable this is that at this year and age an app cannot be made/maintained to simply work. Stop making it so complex. Just have it transfer photos for the love of god.
Worse than no app
I just bought a ZS99 and was attempting to transfer photos from the camera to my phone. The connection process is incredibly complex and also incredibly prone to failure. The app freezes in the same place repeatedly, requiring the app to be forced to-quit. After an hour of fiddling with it, I still have not managed to transfer a single photo.
If this is the best Panasonic can do, I’m just going to return the camera now. This amount of aggravation with a hardware companion app is completely unacceptable in 2026.

iPhone 17
Is anyone else having issues with this app and iPhone 17???😭😭😭 my iPhone 14 worked just fine im so bummed. Can no longer transfer pics
Terrible app
First, every time i transfer images connected to my phone it doesn’t transfer all of them. If i select “multi image transfer” and select 6 images it will transfer say, 2 or 3.
Second, when i attempt to transfer images individually then the last image transfered gets double transferred. Third, every time i minimize the app to check if the images are in my pictures, the phone disconnects from the camera. Fourth, once the camera establishes connection with the phone and youre in the app, the app completely freezes and shows random poctures. The buttons do not work at all and it’s jist frozen showing a random album. You have to close the app ( whoch disconnects the camera) and start the pairing again. This app is poorly made, not intuitive and frustrating to use

Broken batch transfer for years
I don’t know who’s not testing this. Support is awol. Batch transfer is broken. Means you have to buy an Android device instead.

After so long, it’s stopped working
The app doesn’t connect to my FZ2500 anymore, I’ve tried everything. I’m able to connect to my iPhone via wifi but then when you go to the app, it automatically takes you to the play back screen and then it freezes.
Stopped working after update
I have used this app for my DC-ZS70 for two years now and after the most recent update it no longer will connect to my phone. It also would connect prior and then say connection failed and the photos would be nowhere to be found. Very unfortunate.
No longer connects to camera
My Lumix camera connects to the wifi and Bluetooth settings, but when I open the image app it shows the connecting screen and does not pair. I’ve had no issues with this app until a month ago.
This is my only way of transferring my camera photos to my iPhone which was part of the reason I bought the camera in the first place! Please update the app so it connects again!

Broke on iOS
If you have a Panasonic camera, and an Apple device, and want to do batch transfer - do yourself a favour - and buy an Android device instead.
Been broken for as long as I have had an Lx 100 ii and a TZ200 - no support to speak of.

話が違う
TZ99のBluetooth接続で取扱説明書ではios15以上との事でしたが、iPhone16(ios26)で試したところできず。問い合わせたらios18までとのことで、それ以上は動作確認ができてないと言われました。なら取扱説明書に先に書いてください、、。ってかios18って2024年リリースですよね？もう2026年ですが^_^
対応iosバージョンのリリースの話は降りてきてないらしいのでこれから購入される方要注意です(wifi転送はできますが、自動転送はBluetoothに繋げないとできません)

Doesn’t pair with phone
The camera won’t pair with my iPhone 12 so I can’t transfer any photos. Really disappointing
Connectivity does not work
App cannot connect to camera even though the phone is happy to connect to the camera's wi-fi access point. Completely unusable as a result.
