Paperless Less Paper

Search now finds more than documents, and Favorites is now Offline. • Type in the search field on the Documents list and the matches appear grouped — documents, saved views, tags, correspondents, document types, storage paths and custom fields. Tap a document to open it, or tap anything else to filter the list by it. • Choosing a result puts the keyboard away but keeps what you typed, so tapping the field again brings the same results back. • Search terms are no longer written to the diagnostics log. That covers the advanced search too, which had been recording them since long before this release. • The Favorites tab is now called Offline, which is what it always did: keep chosen documents on this device so they can be read with no connection. Saving one is “Save offline” now, under a download arrow rather than a heart. Everything you had already saved is still there, and if you had set a swipe action to Favorite it still works — it is called Offline now. • The Offline list has the same search field as the Documents list, instead of the system one that sat above it.
