Terrible.

My child refuses to talk to me.

It’s only useful if you pay for the subscription and the deletion is annoying

Do NOT waste your money!

This app did not work right from day 1. It was the biggest waste of money. To get it on your kids phone and yours is ridiculous. You finally install it and it doesn’t work! One year later, it still has my son’s phone locked up and I cannot get it off. Worst puchase of my life.

Waste of time

This is there the most useless app I have ever downloaded, worked for a month, I liked it and upgraded, took my money but doesn’t work anymore as soon as I upgraded to premium, waste of money and time. The schedule and blocking doesn’t work my teenager’s phone is always unblocked even with the schedule activated. Again very useless app, don’t waste your time.

Garbage App

I purchased the Premium version because I needed a reliable way to manage my sister’s screen time, but unfortunately the app didn’t work as advertised.

I set a bedtime schedule so certain apps would disappear at night and reappear in the morning. Instead, the apps stayed available at bedtime and didn’t come back when they were supposed to. I had to manually hide and restore the apps myself every single time, which completely defeated the purpose of paying for this app.

On top of that, I also ran into issues where apps couldn’t be deleted because of the restrictions, and it took a lot of troubleshooting to remove everything.

Overall, it was a frustrating experience. I paid for Premium expecting the scheduling features to work automatically, but they were unreliable and ended up creating more work instead of saving time.

GOOD app

ever sense i got this app my child kept getting into hobbies! like they bring a rope into there room! the creeking on the celling is a little annoying tho....

Warning!

It’s a very basic unsophisticated app. But after you download the profile it deletes your child’s wallpaper and rearranges all the apps. Mine spent a lot of time in those things and was devastated to have to redo everything.

Don’t download it.

This up is terrible app. Always ask to pay for it but do not allow to use the app and it doesn’t work at all.

I HATE THIS

My brother got this whole app to block something’s because I stood up to 1am TWO times😭😭

Dear, Parents…

This app isn’t allowing my child to call when an emergency has occurred. This app has various glitches too that prevent my child from playing games and watching videos. I do not like this app and I do not recommend it for anyone. I would like for this app to get deleted and sued.

Effective if your child doesn't try to bypass it

Within one hour of installing this app on his phone my son deleted the MDM profile, rendered this app useless. That was a few months ago. I contact the support, and was told that they were working on it and gave me three months of subscription for free. Now three months passed, I am starting being charged, this issue is still not solved. I cancelled the subscription. Without the MDM profile it does nothing more than an icon on the screen.

Good potential

Good potential and tighter control than Apple’s useless Family features. However some basic things aren’t working. Ie apps that should be allowed during my son’s school schedule are not - which means I need to allow all apps which completely defeats the purpose of

Poor install process

The app requires you to connect the child’s phone to a computer. No problem with that. But afterwards several apps were deleted (not inaccessible, deleted), wallpapers changed, etc.

That either should not happen, or should be made explicit in the instructions.

It was not clear how to use the child’s app after that (requires pushing a start/stop button even to access allowed apps and sites). It was much too intrusive.

App is pretty terrible.

App doesn’t work easily. WAYYY too many bugs. Way too complicated. Glitches everywhere. My son deleted the app on his end. Nothing works easily or clearly. Complete waste of money unless you’re willing to invest a huge amount of time monitoring and figuring out this app. I need to find another parental control blocker for my son’s iPad.

Good but could improve

Good app, and probably the only one that works well. But many times the schedule does not work and when you see the phone is open. They need to improve it, it’s been years with same issue.

IT HACKED MY SONS PHONE

Don’t download it hacked my sons phone I now have to pay loads of money to get it fixed

Es fehlen wichtige Funktionen

Funktioniert gut, es fehlen aber wichtige Funktionen:

Response from developer

Hi there! It sounds like there may be some confusion around this feature. Please email us at support@ourpact.com (mailto:support@ourpact.com) for assistance. We look forward to hearing from you and clarifying any questions you have :)

Support

There is a lot I like about this app except for … there isn’t a contact number when having a problem such as double billing, and no response when the support team has been contacted via email.

please dont do this to your kid

I struggle with my mental health and no matter how many times i told her it wasnt my mum thought my phone was the problem so she downloaded this app on my phone. it created aurguments between me and my mum and it just made my mental health worse to be honest but she wont listen when i tell her that. the play/pause thing doesnt work so my mum just does it manually and she forgets most of the time. also when she downloaded it on my phone she didnt tell me what it was so when it did download everything on my phone dissapeared and whenever i want to download an app i have to wait for it to notify the app which takes like a day so i have to wait until the next day to get the app. if you are a parent reading this please dont do this to your child it no joke ruined my life and if you are a child reading this dont let your parent get this and show them this review

Glitches Cost Us Hundreds

OurPact’s basic screen‑time management works fine, but the app has some serious reliability issues. Several of my child’s app settings repeatedly revert to “Always Allow,” and the “Disable In‑App Purchases” feature randomly turns itself off. After 10 months of using this app, these glitches have cost our family nearly $500 in in‑app purchases I believed were blocked.

I reached out to the developer multiple times, but instead of troubleshooting, they insisted my child “must” have my password or access to my devices and was overriding the settings. That simply isn’t the case, and it was frustrating to have the blame shifted back onto us rather than the app’s functionality being addressed.

At this point, I can’t recommend OurPact. Don’t waste your time or money. We’re switching to Bark, hoping for a more reliable and accountable solution.
