Good but occasional login bugs
In general I like this app but I often have to log in again entirely with my password to reactivate the Face ID login as for some reason it forgets me. This invariably happens during drop off when I am in a hurry. I don’t know if it is my nursery but I often done get sound with the videos.
It would be nice to be able to export the learning stories and snapshots to pdf so I can have a proper record of my child’s development outside of the app.

Scrolling / downloading photos
The photo experience has really gone downhill. A couple of years ago you could scroll through photos easily and download them in seconds. Now the photos take ages to load as you scroll, and every single photo you want to save needs individual permission. The download button itself often takes so long to appear. Waiting for photos to upload is just as painful.

Deleted data and uncontactable
I wanted to keep my child’s learning journey at nursery. Printed and to be kept. However, the nursery setting couldn’t get the app to work to allow me to download my data. They tried contacting the company. I wrote a form requesting my right for data. All ignored. I’ve tried for 2 years! That’s how bad it is.

Good app
It’s a good helpful app, but it would be helpful if when there are comments made, you could reply and the person could then see them and respond back.
It would be helpful if the photos were dated.
And it would be good if the login page had different names for each setting. My daughter attends forest school and nursery and there is nothing to differentiate which is which at the login screen.

Amazing app
Amazing app tells me all about my daughter’s day!!
Photo loading / download
The time it takes to load a single photo then the lottery you take on trying to download a photo is actually ridiculous. It can take 5+ mins to download 5 photos and even then it downloads two of the same photo rather than the one you clicked on. It has got so much worse

App fault
I am Constantly getting issues with this app and the screen becomes jumpy this does not happen on any others app. I have reinstalled which fixed it previously however it now continues despite reinstalling

My nursery has just moved to famly and I’m gutted
They do group observations now so I can see all other children and have to scroll through hundreds of pictures of other children til I find one of the back of my child’s head in a group photo
They add loads of meaningless AI text now too
I miss just being able to see photos of what my child got up to. Find things so hard to find on famly compared!
Trying to persuade them to move back!!!

Great app for childcare
Absolutely love this app, so easy and clear to use. Great notifications also. Only thing I don’t like is how often it logs you out of the app which can be annoying otherwise love everything else about it
A great nursery
All of the staff have been so helpful and knowledgeable about any questions asked and I was impressed with the attentiveness to any and every small detail with regards to the children when I have been at the nursery on multiple occasions.
More than one child
The only fault about this app is having to log out and back in again to change children if you have more than one at the setting. I have a profile picture of me & each child so I know which account is which child. There should be a tab where you can change to view each separate child.

I really enjoy coming on to see what my son has eaten for that day at nursery and I love the fact that they can put photos of the things the hes doing on there. All the other features just add to why it’s such a good app.
Good but room for improvement
Great app to allow feedback and understand what our kids are doing at nursery and interact the nursery staff.
There are the following issues with the app from using it for the passed six months:
•you can download the photos you receive from nursery through the app onto your phone but you cannot do this for Videos!
•notification badges do not sync with what you have read unless you open each notification, if you have two or three and open one of the notifications and scroll down the timeline to see all three you still have two notification badges on the app. After six months I have 442 notifications on my app icon!
Would be good to have the ability to auto save photos and videos to your roll similar to WhatsApp!

Bugs still need fixing
The app itself contains everything you need but you have to hard close the app every time you want to go back in to it as you get an error at the login screen

Fed up of being constantly asked if I’m liking the app and if I want to leave feedback which then logs me out of the app. I do like it, I love having a way to keep in touch with the nursery and seeing what’s going on in my daughters day but this has bothered me so much it’s compelled me to leave this review.
