Residency Verification Not Working
Despite following the app’s directions AND customer service chat-bot, my phone’s camera will not scan and upload the bar code on the back of my driver’s license. Residency remains unverified.

Same issue as others
I set up my account, allow permission for the app to use my camera, but when I go to scan the ID it just keeps on making sounds like it’s taking a picture and nothing happens. C’mon Maui County, step up your game and release a product that actually works!
Not ready for Prime Time
Very buggy. Had to try several times to get the keyboard to pop up in order to type in the code texted to me. When I tried to take a photo of my drivers license my iPad just kept on taking photos. Nothing happened. The lines that were suppose to show where the license was to be centered were not present.

ID Scan Fix
I also initially had an issue with scanning my ID. The app doesn’t prompt you but you need to go to your settings and give the ParkMaui app access to the camera. Once thats done the scan is easy and no need to use the kiosks at the beach.
App doesn’t work
They promote free parking if local, but the app literally can’t scan ID to verify residency. Typical. And why a different app than the one they make us use everywhere else? All the parking attendants in the garage try to help but even they admit it’s terrible.

Residency verification doesn’t work
Might be an early bug, but the residency cannot be verified on the app with the camera. I have tried multiple devices to scan my license but it won’t take the picture needed. Asking the ai tells you it cannot help with ParkMaui, only the ParkMobile app and says it doesn’t have the verification steps needed. Opening to scan allows you to see everything on the camera, but won’t self capture and has no button to take it yourself. Once that is fixed I’m sure it will be great.
