App does not work
Any time I attempt to schedule a call, I get an error message saying “something went wrong-please try again” I’ve updated the app, reinstalled the app, rebooted phone, all for naught. This is a great concept but simply doesn’t work and takes your subscription fee.

This App is a scam
I paid the fee for this app and it does not work. I immediately sent an email for assistance and did not receive a response. THIS APP IS A SCAM. Takes your money and gives you NOTHING!

Paid for this several days ago and it does not work. Keep getting and error message. Messaged the creator on Facebook three times with no response. DO NOT waste your money.

I really love the idea of this but it does not work. I paid for this app and have not been able to get it to work over the course of several days. I'm not sure if the developer gave up on this project or what the issue is but I reached out to the support email several days ago and I haven't heard anything back. Some of their social media accounts also haven't posted in well over a year. I requested a refund so hopefully that will at least go through

Took my money
I paid for a membership and when I went to use it I couldn’t even get it to work once. I just waisted my money on nothing.

I. Love. It. The cost is so reasonable. There’s even a Lifetime option as compared to Just Subscription. Anyway, I’m unable to add my emergency contacts. Once that’s fixed. It’s a 5 for sure.

Can't just be about safety! Nope! You have to pay for it. Free great idea of an app with a catch: you can't use it without a subscription. Funny how an app designed to help women is just another thing profiting off our serious issues. We have to pay to feel safe. What if we don't have the money to pay to feel safe? Something to think about, especially since women in poverty are the most targeted. 👍🏻

No. You also all probably don’t know how expensive it is to create and launch something. 99c isn’t much and your also helping support other women so stop crying. No ads is very important for this app. Don’t 1 star because you’re being ignorant. This is a great app. Not angry birds. They also lowered the price for a year subscription.

Perfect for getting out of uncomfortable situations! I wish it was Apple Watch compatible in case I need a more subtle way of faking a call.

This app seams like a great idea, we love women safety. Why should something as amazing as this idea be charged. This seems like a great opportunity to get FREE safety to women, but instead there is a weekly charge. Do not download.

i cant record my own calls without the screen going black when i try to save it, no matter how long or short the recording is. can you pls fix this?
SO VERSATILE
I originally got parry just for those really uncomfortable situations at the bar when a guy just won’t take no for an answer. But parry has helped me in so many other situations! It’s such a great option and it makes me feel a lot safer when I go out into the world on my own. Seriously people GET THIS APP.
Short story: I was In an Uber and I noticed that the driver started to start to lean from the proper route to where we were supposed to be going. I immediately started to feel uncomfortable I used parry to send my location to my sister and stayed on the phone with the person the entire time. Once he heard me talk to the person about where I was and what time I should be home he immediately went back to the proper route. I’m not joking when I say get this app. It’s just an extra comfort that’s unfortunately is necessary these days.

Costs money
It’s a great idea. But why would I pay weekly for something that I might have to use once in a dangerous situation. A one time payment to buy the app honestly might make y’all more money bcuz so many people can’t afford the plans.
Parry is the BEST
Parry is such a great tool. I love having this on hand to get out of any awkward/uncomfortable conversations or situations, and to always have as a back up especially when I’m going out on a date! Also Parry has come in handy when someone doesn’t get the hint I don’t want to small talk when I go on a walk, go to the grocery store, etc.

There's a pay lock.. why are we getting charged to protect ourselves?! i get that apps need to make money, but there's other ways that could make the app more accessible too.

Why would an app that is suppose to help women feel safe cost money? It’s not free.. but they advertise it’s free Just charge for the Download. Don’t go through a scheming way to get people to download it and then demand they pay to use. Your excuse on another review is empty because “in app purchase” means some free features. Some cost purchase.
