The app stopped working
Can no longer access my passport. Deleting and would recommend not downloading. Also not sure if this foreign based firm is retaining my passport information and biometric data after I delete. Avoid.
Failed to work when needed
New employer asked for proof of passport. Tried to open the app, it was unresponsive to unlock button. Running up to date IOS and latest version of this app.

"Face too far, move closer"
I'm going to hear that synthesized voice saying that phrase over and over in my sleep. No matter where or how I position my face, including so close to the phone that it's about twice the size of the shaded outline that shows where your face should be in the frame, this app insists my face is too far and that I need to move closer. It reads my passport's chip just fine and collects the correct data from the photo of my passport, but nothing I do can cause it to take a selfie of me. Into the trash it goes.

Refuses to take the selfie
Keeps repeating face too far. I moved my face from arm distance to my nose touching screen. The app kep repeating “face too far” and look straight ahead

Photo page scan is the only part working. Biometrics worked after few attempts but selfie part is not working now.

Very glitchy. Will NOT read the bio chip from passport. Piece of junk - do NOT use.
App refusing to use face ID
When I first downloaded the app it was working perfectly fine, but after a few months it decided to refuse to use face ID even after hitting the button repeatedly and I considered the app to be obsolete for me.
Passport chip stopped working
No matter how many times I try, passport chip reading doesn’t work anymore. At least with Brazilian, Italian and Portuguese passports. It detects the chip, starts reading but then it fails. Please fix.

That doesn't sound right. The chip for these passports is in the inside back cover. Would you kindly try again and read them from there? We tried all three passports from samples in our test bed and all three read the passport chip.
Doesn’t work in Italy
This is not accepted as a substitute in Italy where your full passport number had to be available to be scanned by the Police.

What good is it
Took 20 try’s to enter my country (USA), then ….. every time I had to re-enter EVERY OTHER entry ALREADY entered.. other reviews say app is great to remind for renewal.. guess those folks don’t know if to check a simple date… idk.. .. just see zero use for this.. can I use it @ customs?… ummmm.. no
Complete waste of time.
This app is a joke honestly. Very hard to get a decent photo of the passport info (iPhone 12 pro max here so no excuse), then it would not recognize or scan the passport chip or the passport info page either. I’m unimpressed and uninstalled this time waster app immediately.
Wish This App Worked Better
I really want to like this app: 1) App refuses to scan the biometric chip on my Passport despite 6 different attempts. 2) Unable to take selfie. Fix these two issues and this would be a great app!
Closest thing to a true digital passport
Thanks for the post-iOS 16 fixes. App was unusable before.
Please provide ways to export all passport data read from the chip, including JSONs and images, not just the user’s photos.
Would be nice to have an import feature, in addition to the export. This way me and my wife can have all family’s passports in our phones without the tedious process of manually adding them twice. Think about air drop.

A very handy tool!
I was recommended to download this by a friend. After downloading and adding my passport I thought “now what”? I pretty much forgot about the app until one day it notified me that my passport was going to expire! Thankfully I didn’t have a trip booked but knowing myself, I probably wouldn’t have checked my passport until it was too late, making me pay for the faster passport renewal fees and potentially ruining any travel plans! I’ll be recommending this to family and friends 👍🏽

Great app and now even easier to use!
This new version is awesome. The ability of the app to use your phone to read the chip in the passport is a fantastic improvement. An important extra security measure. Easier than ever to scan passports and the expiration warning is a trip-saver. With family overseas, we travel frequently and this app helps me keep track of everyone’s expiration date. Can’t recommend it enough. 5 STARS!!

Super simple
Great app that makes accessing or sharing my passport info really easy to do! Being able to walk around with my passport securely in my pocket, without having to worry I might lose it gives me peace of mind and I can also store more than one passport - so me and my family are covered.
