Prone to Crashing
If your app keeps crashing at sign in, try deleting it completely, and reinstalling it. Just make sure to have your store’s Paychex ID and sign in PIN to log back in after reinstalling. Our store had a constant crashing issue until we deleted & reinstalled. Now it functions properly.
Crashes After Launch
The app instantly crashes whenever the sign-in box is tapped. The only workaround is to rapidly triple-tap it until the keyboard pops up. It’s quite embarrassing to have an issue like this for so long without any patches or updates to fix it. I genuinely think this app has been forgotten by the Paychex developers.

Don’t
We have now been down for over a week with the app not working. No one seems to know why the app went down. No answers and limited responses! Looking at other systems now!
Unreliable, poor support, waste of time and money
Our team has spent a combined three hours on the phone with tech support trying to troubleshoot the latest outage with this app. No resolution provided. I can’t rely on this app, and you shouldn’t buy it.
Stops working randomly, no help from support
Don’t buy this. Don’t let PayChex tell you that they have a solution for a time clock. This app breaks a random times and the answer from support is basically “shrug” and “please try downloading the new version when it’s available in the App Store next week”. The software didn’t stop working because of any new app version that we downloaded—it just stopped working. And they have no solution other than to hope that the next release fixes the problem. Meanwhile, we don’t have a time clock for at least four business days. Unreliable and unprofessional support capability.

Garbage
This system is wasting my staff and my productivity. System always gave difficulties for my staff to clock in & out and I have to end entering their times manually.
Crashes during registration
As a new time clock client, this not positive start.
App and support are ridiculously bad
The app will not start up properly and just quits. Sometimes it will work if I try and open it 7 or 8 times in a row, but then it just crashes again. I’ve called support and they went through a couple troubleshooting tips but none of them worked. They say there is nothing they can do. They have no idea what they’re doing.

Frequent crashes and missed data
Absolutely unacceptable level of “support” and reliability from a professional timekeeping provider. My company pays good money for the headache of running this app on a relatively expensive Apple iPad. Just upgraded to new hardware because the software stopped working on our older workhorse of an iPad kiosk... here we are 2 months later with the app crashing on startup again. Sad and costly waste of time for a small business owner like me.
