Can’t login using google

Every time I try to login using google it says invalid “AuthID02 token” . I use google to login on my computer and it works fine. I have a paid account. I don’t think much effort goes into the Paymo app unfortunately, this login error has happened for years.

Crashes on login screen

Trying to login - and crashed on typing of 1st letter for email or password

By far the best!

I’ve used many but this one beats all!

Not satisfied

It is not a generic tool you can use in any environment as it comes with sw specific features. Lot of flaws in task management like when you delete something it takes you to the dashboard rather then remain in the screen you were working.

Decent companion to website

Improvement ideas:

- 15 minute intervals when choosing times
- Show current time bar in timesheet like web app
- Show unbilled AR in project view

Requires PCI Compliance

Loved this service until it began requiring small businesses to prove PCI compliance in April. You have to have an information security officer in order to avoid this app’s $35/month PCI non-compliance fee.

Simple & easy to use

Simple , clean app.
Love it.

Is good

I love the app

Suggested modifications

Started using the app only today. I think this will work great and I will probably upgrade some time soon to a paid version.

I’d like to provide a few quick comments: 1) I find the app version rather limited to what is available on the web version so not sure I will use the app. 2) when creating a new customer, could you modify the “state” label as many countries ( including Canada where I live) have provinces instead. 3) the Invoice creation function is not useful to some locations ( such as Quebec where I live) since we need 2 tax levels, not just 1 as you currently have it; we have a provincial sales tax (PST) and federal tax known as GST ( in other provinces, there is just one level and in such case, there is no PST and the GST is then called Harmonized Sales Tax ( HST). Yes we have a complicated tax structure in Canada but it is necessary to support this in your softwar to use the invoicing function.

Thanks!

Doesn’t use password manager

Sadly doesn’t use the standard iOS option to get the user ID and password from the password manager so it’s quicker to connect via the web on a computer than try to use the app. The service itself is excellent and I would recommend it to any with sophisticated time tracking and service billing needs but don’t bother with the app.

Fine for time tracking but not much else

I truly love the desktop version of Paymo but this app includes almost none of the features that make Paymo worth it. - No time entries except for your own (I manage a full team and am meant to check their time entries daily)

- No team scheduling. This is 90% of my job so this is very frustrating
- No task or project filtering so you have to scroll through tons of completed tasks to view the ones that still need to be done - Can’t view any task bookings
- Can’t view time entries that aren’t your own on tasks
- The UI is not well utilized on larger screens. So much more information could be shown in the project tasks overview such as task description and estimated hours similarly to the desktop app. Currently you have to click on tasks for any details

These are my primary pain points. This would all be fine if the actual website was available via the browser but it forces you to download the app. In a response to a separate review, the Paymo team mentioned that this isn’t possible due to screen real estate but, if I look at Paymo on a desktop, I can make my window a third of the size of my iPad screen and it still works just fine. Even if it looked janky, I would be so happy to just be able to use the necessary features!

As someone that has recently switched to primarily tablet working due to being on the go with work often, I am having to consider other project management softwares that actually allow you to manage projects from other devices. Hopefully I’ll find a workaround because Paymo is great on a desktop.

Life saver and game changer for professionals

Paymo is not a tool but a part if the team.

Great and very functional App

I'm not using PayMo that long but from the very beginning easy go set up, quickly open the projects, easily assign tasks, easy to make a monthly invoice with all of working hours per each user, and need to mention that ‘the push an invoice’ to Xero Accounting is beneficial for us. ‼️🥳

not there yet - no accessibility for any advanced features/settings via iPad

this app is not advanced enough to replace the browser version of this software - it's a companion at best - and the browser version has been blocked so you can't really access the account settings or any advanced features unless you have regular access to a laptop or desktop that are not an iPad. the ui is pretty lacking too: the views on tablet landscape are stretched out with too much space and thus difficult to look at, buttons are not intuitive and placed in weird places, and changes don't save in the same way that they do on the browser version. without the functionality of the browser version, the app is really not worth the extra hoops I have to jump to get even the simplest of things done.

--edit 10/4/21 to respond to developer's question--
developer responded: "the app does not claim to replace the desktop version. do you mind pointing out the specific things you want to do on mobile and can’t?"

sure thing. the mobile app's settings only show a toggle for turning on or off push notifications. the settings governing the rest of how the app works are only accessible through the browser version, which is currently blocked from mobile browsers. since I use an iPad for all of my work, that means:

- I can't add or modify company details
- I can't switch language
- I can't add or modify leave days/types
- I can't modify any invoicing settings
- I can't modify any appearance settings
- I can't modify online payments settings
- I can't modify tags for expenses
- I can't modify email templates
- I can't modify project templates
- I can't add or modify project status templates
- I can't add or modify workflow views

I understand that "the app does not claim to replace the desktop version", and I'm not saying it should. I'm just letting other users know that if they don't have regular access to a desktop or laptop, then they won't be able to access settings or any of the advanced paymo features like gantt charts and the like.

expanding on the other issues, the kanban view was nice initially but the scrolling isn't smooth, and it's the only view that's been optimized for landscape - the project view, due date view, and priority views are all way too spaced out to the left on landscape and make it difficult to look at them. the app doesn't respond to the keyboard tabs so navigation is awkward and limited. nothing autosaves on the mobile app so if I make a change on a task and then tap the back button, the changes are lost - you have to tap the checkmark/save button first. which, is fine! but still very far from the functionality of the browser version.

De lo mejor

De lo mejor qué he probado. Intuitivo y versátil. Recomiendo su uso.

Fantastic studio app

We are just switching over to Paymo from another major project invoicing app. Paymo has so far over delivered on my expectations. The desktop app and mobile app are everything we were looking for, but failed to find in other apps suitable for a creative design studio. It’s worth spending a little time getting to know your way around the app. The user interface is nice and easy to use. Well worth a tryout.

Excellent app and product

Love using Paymo, have been watching from the beginning and enjoyed watching them grow.

Good free-tier, useful features, friendly onboarding

After a few weeks in business, I’m now officially a paying user. I chose this software because of the generous free-tier.

There are apps and widgets on all my device.

_Sometimes_ some menu options, etc can be hard to find, but I am getting quicker.

4/5 ✌️

The new app is great

Great app, way better than the previous version ! I just would like to have a view on my invoices, and maybe a quick look on my KPI (time tracked this month, money spent / earnt, pending turnover..)
